It is Friday, December 19, and there are only two people left in Villa Ecureuil: Ingrid, who will take her flight tomorrow morning (very early!) and myself…
This means that almost all the Ecureuil girls have reached their destination: home for the holidays!
Wishing you all a well-deserved break… Have fun, relax, revise! And enjoy being with your beloved ones 🙂
Last Wednesday the tradition was renewed again – the Secret Santa meeting was organized in our lounge… and in order to celebrate this meeting with more… gusto!, it was preceded by a nice pizza dinner 🙂 with home-made apple cake!
That was one of the best Saturdays ever!
Well, even if I had to wake up at 8:30, I really enjoyed the Escalade race with Liza and Dima, and other cool guys! Moreover I have met my classmates there, who were also running… We thought the race would be 5.2 km, but it was only 2.3, and we have finished it in 15 minutes! (Don’t ask me about the ranking, I have no idea which one we got)
After that we participated to another “race” – quickly pick up the cake for Mrs Usher (birthday surprise from the Prefect team), leave it at the Kempinski Hotel, come back to the Boarding House and get ready for the dinner!
The Xmas dance is another story, and it was amazing! Thanks to the best company – Nabi, Nuri, James, Matvey, Danon and of course Anastasia, Tanya, Lana, Rost, Lev, Eldar (XDDD)!
Diego, you have organized an amazing dinner for us 🙂 thank you!
Last night one of the most awaited events took place in Hotel Kempinski in Geneva: the traditional CDL Christmas Dance!
Shall I tell you something about the feverish preparation that lasted at least two days for our beautiful ladies? 🙂 No, I will leave that to your imagination… But they were all so beautiful and elegant and just.. special!!!
Here are some pictures of the evening… at the Boarding House and at the dinner party.
Our fantastic Elena was the first of the Prefects to give a speech before the dancing began!
And then, of course, staff members enjoyed a great dinner, too!!
I am looking forward to seeing all the pictures that were taken last night! A really great happening… 🙂
Well, yes, it is not easy! It is 7:30 am, still dark outside (what happened to daylight?), still sleepy but yet all dressed and with make up… Pheewwww!!! Next week it is going to be easier with pizza and cake to celebrate the arrival of Secret Santa… Will keep you posted! 😉
