… as demonstrated by this picture!
Do I need to say more? That the menu was the following: bruschetta, 3 different types of pasta, eggplant parmigiana, carpaccio and the glorious tiramisù that you can’t see in the picture? That all the Italians and many more international volunteers did a fantastic job? That some of the music was really terrible but “what to do”, Italian music has gone through some dark times, too? That it was a really fun evening, preceded by 2 very busy days in the kitchen, full of eggplants and eggs?
Well, no, I think the picture says it all :))
From this morning, there is a new boarder in Villa Ecureuil: Roxie, a student who is on an exchange program organized by and among some schools of the Meritas group. Roxie is a Chinese boarder who studies in the Léman Manhattan school and she will be here for three weeks, studying and living with us and also going on the ski week with the school!
Her official “chaperon” is Steven, a boarder in Louis Yung 7, who will go and stay in the Léman Manhattan school later on during the school year.
I am sure it is going to be a great exchange and also a great way for our boarders to learn more about other Meritas boarding schools!
Happy happy birthday Ingrid!!!!!!!
Ingrid was turning 17 today and nobody wanted to miss the party 🙂
A special thank you to our chef, Daria 🙂 The cake was yummmmmy
That was a great day! Usual Sunday becomes a wonderful event: Cinema! We watched Penguins of Madagascar. It is a 2014 American 3D computer-animated action comedy film, produced by DreamWorks Animation. Every one loved it. We had a cool day before Monday.
