“Moody” weather here

Do you know the feeling when your body is asking you for this…

And in the morning when you open the shutters you see this…?

Well, generally speaking, February and March can be very “moody” months, as far as the weather is concerned, and this has consequences on many people’s energy level.

However, these last few days before the end of the second marking period can be a great test for one’s perseverance and tenacity! It is important to be supported by one’s own determination to succeed, despite what happens in the environment around us.

So… keep your eyes on your goals, dear Ecureuil ladies, and you will succeed! Ask for help! Engage in teamwork, when possible! And take care of yourself so that you can excel all the way to the end 🙂

The February break is starting soon!

In Villa Ecureuil everybody is getting ready for the upcoming break… Someone will leave the country to go and meet her family back home, someone will travel to a holiday destination somewhere else in the world (maybe a warm and sunny place?), while others will stay and go to Crans-Montana for a week of world-class skiing!!

Crans and Montana are two really beautiful villages in the heart of the Swiss region that offers some of the best skiing in Europe… We have the great chance to enjoy fantastic snow there – it must be snowing as I am typing this piece, on a windy, rainy night in Geneva!

An exciting House Meeting!

All the boarders in Villa Ecureuil are asked to make an intervention during our House Meetings – to show or talk about something interesting, which can include music, videos, talking… anything (or almost)!

Tonight Shizhe contributed by showing us a video of a very interesting Japanese girl who challenges herself… to eat incredible amounts of food! It is true that one can find just about ANYTHING on the internet 🙂

Here are some pictures of the fascinated audience…
