Come and meet us at the next Geneva Book fair – happening now at the Palexpo, until May 1st!
This is how CDL is described in the Fair’s exhibitor’s list…
|“Ecole internationale d’enseignement privé située à Genève. Sa mission est de contribuer au développement personnel des élèves, de leur offrir une éducation d’excellence et de leur donner le goût d’apprendre tout au long de leur vie (2-18 ans)”
This Alumni Dinner was the second event of this kind, organized by CdL in order to reunite former boarders in the school for a special dinner. It was a great success! Twenty-five boarders returned here in order to spend the evening together with our grade-12 boarders and to enjoy Switzerland and Geneva again.
It was a pleasure to see how much everybody enjoyed the evening and the company!
And.. celebration after celebration… Anastasia received her “real” birthday cake, too!
Tonight we enjoyed a delicious cake in order to… “pre-celebrate” Anastasia’s birthday, which is actually next Friday. Nineteen years old! And about to finish her IB adventure here at Collège du Léman!
Our best wishes for a great birthday, Nastia 🙂
This is quite self-explanatory… The richness and the beauty of the English language would not be the same without William Shakespeare’s contribution!
Just to have a (very) small idea…
Puckish comes from the name Puck, a sprite in English folklore, and also themischievous narrator in William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
In Villa Ecureuil there are many grade-12 students, actually the majority: 10 out of 14. Of these 10, one is a student in the French section (this means she will stay until the end of the school year…), while all the others are getting ready for their exams, which will finish before the end of May and the date of the Graduation Ceremony (May 28!).
Those who are in IB 2 from today can benefit from a week of “study leave”, during which no classes take place and students can prepare for exams independently, or also taking advantage of revision classes organized by their teachers.
Needless to say, the atmosphere is… electric!
Wishing all our girls all the best for these very important days!!
A few days ago we received Mr. Romolo in our Boarding House to work on a special project: a video where all grade-12 would talk and express themselves in order to send a message to their fellow boarders, those who are not at the end of their high school studies yet.
We are very excited as this video will be shown… tomorrow!
Come and join us for this fabulous High School concert supporting our Serenje Orphans Appeal on Friday night! Great music guaranteed 🙂
All funds will be directed to the support the Serenje orphanage in Zambia.

Our Tatiana B turned 18 while on holidays, on April 5, so we decided to celebrate her birthday last night with a yummy cake that her roommate Anastasia brought over in secret 🙂
Happy birthday Tatiana!! Wishing you all the best!
Next Saturday, April 16, families will have the possibilities to come and visit Collège du Léman during its Open House from 9:30 until 12:00.
