Yes! And we are full of energy and ready to finish this marking period and begin the next – and then so much more will happen! Stay tuned for more exciting news 🙂
Tonight the miracle of baking yummy cookies happened again in the Villa Ecureuil kitchen… And chocolate cookies at that! Jiusi prepared a good quantity of chocolate and chocolate-chip cookies which will be sold tomorrow in school to gather money for the MADS charity.
Other girls were in the kitchen, bringing fruits to the House for our afternoon snacks and chatting the time away.
A fantastic smell still lingers in the House… We will all have sweet dreams tonight!
This weekend the girls from our House did a lot of things:
A few of girls, Katia, Muzoon, Rina and Runa went to EuropaPark; Paola went to see her family in Paris and others just stayed in Geneva and had a relaxing weekend, studying and sleeping…
The first couple of pictures were taken by Katia.
The first picture was taken in front of the water fountain in EuropaPark. In the picture, from left, Esther, Muzoon, Sofia, Katia, Elsa,Helen and Rina.
The second picture was taken in the street of EuropaPark. From the left, Rina, Katia, Sofia, Elsa and Helen.
They looks like the Beatles 🙂
The two pictures above were sent from Runa. On the left: Katya, Rina and Runa. They look so happy because they bought stuffed pillows. They look so cute <3
The right picture was taken in EuropaPark with Daniya, Iza, Sonya, Katya and Runa. They look like professional people waiting in line to go on to attractions.
This picture was sent from Enkhlin. She went to Geneva with her friends to go around and have a relaxing weekend.
In the picture, from the left, Kaito, Francesca and Enkhlin.
This picture was send from Charcy. It was taken in Geneva. They look like they are having a relaxing time with Starbucks coffee in their hand!
In the picture, from the left, Jiusi, Michelle and Charcy.
I am so glad to see Michelle out of her chair in our room and having her time to relax in Geneva with her friends <3 <3
This is the last picture, sent from Paola. She visited Monet’s garden and house in Paris. She described the visit as ‘so much culture’. I am happy she had fun catching up with her family and friends in Paris <3
I hope everyone else had a good weekend, and wishing all a safe trip during their holidays!
A trip to EuropaPark was organized for three girls’ boarding Houses, and four of our boarders went to spend 1 and a half days in Germany to enjoy this fabulous leisure park, which is not far from the border with the German-speaking canton of Switzerland.
It was a short and very intense trip – lots of fun rides, time with friends, food and pictures! Muzoon, Katia, Runa and Rina really liked it.
Here is a selection by our Esther, who went to the trip with the girls!
Sundays are – by definition – days that invite to relax, take things easy… And our brunch is exactly made for that!
In our school canteen in the Léman building, brunch starts at 9:30 and lasts until 11:30, and there is a very good buffet of various types of food… I particularly love the fruit buffet! However, the assortment of donuts and “viennoisierie” is also quite spectacular 🙂
For this weekend, we had couple of pictures that were sent from the Ecureuil boarders.
Here is the first picture from Runa. Her friend, Assyl from LY 25 had her birthday this weekend.
This picture was taken in Geneva.
They went to Silk Road restaurant. From the pictures, they look like they had a blast!
From the left, there are Inara, Danya, MD, Iza, Assyl, Yulya, Sonya, Amal, Liza, and Runa.
Here is the second picture from Katia, with Paola on the right side. It was taken in Versoix, by the lake side.
Even it is cold now in Switzerland, they are still enjoying the view of the lake during the weekend 🙂
This is the next picture taken by Jiusi.
In the picture, Charcy is taking her free time after school to help the preschool teachers to take care of the kids.
Such good and responsible helpers they are!
This is Michelle, my roommate, taken by me. I swear I never seen her out of the chair when even it is after school, social time, or the weekend. She is always studying, doing her best to pass her first year of IB and I am sure she will do well in every subject!
I respect her so much for studying, as she says ‘Studying loves me, and I love studying’.
This is the last picture, of Paola’s and my phonee.
This weekend was not so great when you break your phone even if you didn’t drop it and found it in your bag just like that….
I hope everyone had a great weekend and can’t wait to see more pictures about what the boarders,my family, will do this week and on the weekend!
This weekend was a very relaxing weekend too.
Most of the girls stayed in boarding house and enjoyed the relaxing weekend.
Most of the students are getting sick because of the cold weather..
I hope everyone will feel better soon!!!
I have several pictures from the boarders..
Here is one of them:
There is Rina, meeting a cute little dog in Geneva.
She was very happy and had an amazing time with the dog..
These are photographs taken today during the activity called « Orientation Race » on the Salève mountains, in France, next to the border with Geneva. Saba was one of the participants.
I hope next week the weather will be good!
Last Sunday a new activity was organized for our boarders: an Orientation Race, that is, learning and practicing the use of a compass and of a map to find one’s way back to the starting point of the activity. The location is beautiful, right next to a great forest and with a spectacular view of the valley and of the city of Geneva! A guide gave some information about the activity itself and about the natural surroundings.
Saba was one of the participants and, as you can see, she really enjoyed it 🙂
