This is the scenery we can all enjoy… just a 10-minute walk from Collège du Léman! 🙂
If you are in the Leman region, this is a Festival not to be missed!
The Tulips Festival, or La Fête de la Tulipe, lasts 6 weeks and allows you to see 120.000 tulips of 300 different varieties in the Parc de l’Indépendence in Morges. In a fantastic scenery close to the lake and with the view of the Alps, one can be surprised by the many different shapes and colors of this beautiful flower!
I must thank the Old Portena boarders for these beautiful pictures… They were brave enough to visit the Fetival despite the cold and humid weather last week-end!
This is probably one of the most beautiful winter activities on schedule for our boarders in CDL (apart from skiing in Crans-Montana, of course!): walking around many long, beautiful paths in the snow with these beautiful dogs that pull the leash like there is no tomorrow!
Elizaveta went walking with huskies yesterday afternoon and she really enjoyed it, and she commented that it was very intense, as the dogs are full of energy and really pull you along the path with all their strength! You can see an example of that in the picture below…!
Incredibly enough 😉 some of our girls are fans of beautiful, powerful cars, so they joined a big group of CDL boarders to go and visit the Car Show in Geneva last week-end.
Amazing cars! I bet that anyone would have enjoyed walking around such beauty!!
Thanks to Elena, Alisa and Nilgoun for the reportage…
Shall I tell you something about the feverish preparation that lasted at least two days for our beautiful ladies? 🙂 No, I will leave that to your imagination… But they were all so beautiful and elegant and just.. special!!!
Here are some pictures of the evening… at the Boarding House and at the dinner party.
Our fantastic Elena was the first of the Prefects to give a speech before the dancing began!
And then, of course, staff members enjoyed a great dinner, too!!
I am looking forward to seeing all the pictures that were taken last night! A really great happening… 🙂
