It was a really beautiful evening! Lots of wonderful dresses and outfits, hairdos, high heels, smart guys and good food… What else can you ask for?
It was a time for talking, laughing, taking LOTS of photos (there was even a CDL Photo Booth!), and then dancing!
Here are some pictures…

Here is another yummy event which took place today!
All the Boarding Houses presented their gourmet delicacies to a strict (and very happy) jury of four.
Our menu: Entée of smoked salmon on avocado salad, French-style “pot-au-feu”, Nutella and chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice-cream.
I will say no more!
The International Day has been a long-time tradition here in Collège du Léman and it represents a joyous display of one of the most important aspects of this school: the fact that there are so many nationalities represented here! And that we all strive to grow and blossom thanks to the many advantages brought here by this characteristic.
The day unfolds in a very colorful and tasty parade of many different food-tasting stations, where the students of each nationality propose very yummy dishes that they prepared themselves… All the school is involved and there is even live music! Needless to say, everybody is really excited about it and it is always a great success.
Here we are, in the warmth of the Villa Ecureuil kitchen, for a nice Saturday-night Russian specialty cooking!
Thanks Varvara and Aleksandra for marking the beginning of a new year of yummy cooking!
YESSS! A cake was prepared just for me! With “special” ingredients! Thank you so much 🙂 🙂 🙂
Friends doing what friends do together 🙂
Tasting the yummy food and socializing
Thank you all for participating!!
Look at Tong Tong’s big smile 😀 Well who wouldn’t be smiling with that delicious dessert in front of you
Yesterday was such an important day to all women! So to celebrate I went out with my girlfriends to do what we do best, EAT and without guilt!! The best feeling is when you eat so much for lunch to the point that you are still full when you go to bed, which is what happened to me yesterday.
Waiting for our food…
We can do anything we want to, we just have to believe in ourselves
It was Chinese New Year last week, all the Chinese students in CDL celebrated together and had a really good time. I was kind of upset at the beginning of that day, because all my friends back home are on holidays and celebrating with their families, but I still have homework and class. But when my friends and I went to the Chinese restaurant and had dinner together, I enjoyed it a lot and forgot my bad mood, we were so excited and we even celebrated with the people in the restaurant.
Chinese New Year is the most important traditional Chinese holiday, celebrated at the turn of the Chinese calendar. We also call it Spring Festival, the literal translation of the modern Chinese name: it goes from the last day of the last month of the Chinese calendar to the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the first month, making the festival the longest in the Chinese calendar. And also because the Chinese calendar is “lunisolar”, the Chinese New Year is often referred to as the “Lunar New Year”.
From the 1st day of the Spring Festival to the 15th day which is the Lantern Festival, people celebrate different things and eat different food each day. Moreover every year has a different animal symbol, for example, the horse is the symbol of 2014.
