Sundays are – by definition – days that invite to relax, take things easy… And our brunch is exactly made for that!
In our school canteen in the Léman building, brunch starts at 9:30 and lasts until 11:30, and there is a very good buffet of various types of food… I particularly love the fruit buffet! However, the assortment of donuts and “viennoisierie” is also quite spectacular 🙂
Many things happened during this (late) spring week-end…
Our great Ingrid was accepted to Ecole Hôteliere de Lausanne! YAHOOO!! Congratulations! Now… just less than two weeks of hard work and then off to some well-deserved holidays for you!
Then… Lots of activities happened on campus, even if the weather was not totally on our side, especially on Saturday. Tennis, horseback riding, swimming, almost-wakeboarding (it started raining again just before the activity could take off!), soccer, foot-golf, body shaping, aqua park …
And, last but not least… Congratulations to Collège du Léman’s sailing teams, crossing the line of the 78th Bol d’Or Mirabaud, the most important inland lake regatta in the world. Time – 23:07:48 & 23:38:11. Well done to both!! #bom2016#regatta #collegeduleman
Well, just in case last night’s dinner was not enough… Ingrid prepared some delicious comfort food today: chocolate cupcakes!!
Today is Sunday and nobody wants to go anywhere. It’s pleasant to seat in the grass behind our wonderful Boarding House and read an interesting book. Sometimes we really need to be in some magical world that we can only find in the pages.
On Sunday I went to the lake with my friend. It was so relaxing just to lie down and enjoy the beautiful day.
Feet. Beautiful view.
OMG look what happened to my arm!! I enjoyed the sun so much that I even got three different colours on my arm. So embarrassing, I am Brazilian, I should know how to tan!
Here Sunday afternoon can often look like this… No, let me correct myself: here Sunday afternoons can look like this when the sun is shining!!
Starting to prepare the space outdoors for next Tuesday – the teachers are coming over, woooohooo!! 🙂
The “magical duo” is always in the kitchen… preparing something yummy!
This is a good and a bad sign at the same time: GOOD because spring is here and boarders can put their winter clothes away… BAD because some of them are going to empty these trunks for good when leaving the Boarding House in May after the exams! :((
And someone is catching up with homework and revision…
What are your Sunday afternoon plans?
It is such a beautiful day today – again!! As you can see, it is a bit of a lazy Sunday, too – nobody in the garden yet 😉 but after enjoying our Sunday brunch it is fantastic to be able to enjoy such a sunny weather outside of the Boarding House!
What are your plans for today?
