Your sidebar entries are the default ones from Edublogs. Widgets (in the appearance settings) let you change and personalize the side bar. Use the widgets to have a sidebar with at least all the things that are already there and two new features.
Add some tags to all your posts, and show the tag cloud on your sidebar.

You can modify the the me of your blog, and before applying it, you can have a preview. Try some themes, and pick one that you like. You can stay on the default one if you want.

If someone asks you a question that he could have found by just typing the keywords in the Google search engine web page, you can use the following service:
Let Me Google That For You: http://lmgtfy.com/
For example: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=can+i+be+your+friend
Quite funny!

To complete your Blog header, update the blog tagline with a text of your choice, but leave the title as is. Also, you will remove the “sample page” and “blog listing” links and add a new menu with a link to all other class blogs and the HSCG one on top.
Look at the HSCG blog to see this menu in action that will give you a quick link to all others blog. You can also complete this menu with links to pages of your choice.

Commenting is a very important aspect of blogging, it shows the writer that people are actually reading his/her posts and it also is the way for readers to share their point of view. Each of you must comment on the introductory Prezi of everyone else in the class and on the general look of their blog so far.
i.e. 7 comments each
You should make use of the guidelines I have made in the ‘Making Quality Comments‘ page.

Create a simple animation using http://goanimate.com (or similar)
You will create a 45 sec – 1 minute animation about safety on the internet. Use the information from http://www.storiesfromtheinternet.ch
You cannot copy the information from the comic strip on the website i.e. use your own words.
Use your imagination.
You have two lessons for this assignment before you show them to the class. Make sure you have achieved the message that the ‘stories from the internet’ site is trying to put across. Once complete embed your animation into your blog.
If you go for goanimate, you can read this quick tutorial: http://goanimate.com/video-maker-tips/how-to-make-a-video-quickly

Make a post on the two videos you saw in class on Internet Safety. The first one is called “Can I be your Friend?” and the second one is about “Social Network Facts” with statistical information. Just make some comments about what you learned and if the content was well presented.
