Marshmallow Tower Challenge

Tonights house meeting was about team building and working with different people. They were split in to groups and given 20 pieces of Spaghetti, tape, string and a Marshmallow. They were instructed to build the tallest tower they could with the marshmallow on top.

The winning team was Sabrina, Ayaka, Hailun, Sofya and Yuquin. Their tower was the tallest free standing tower at the end. Though credit must go to Lorena, Cam Thi, Alina, Anya and Veronika who built a huge tower but it sadly fell as they let go.

Ski Week

Yansey, Celine, Jasmin, Paula and Ivy are all attending the Ski Week with school. Another week in Crans Montana learning to ski.

The other girls have all headed on holiday or home.

Ski Weekend in Crans Montana

On Friday the Boarding School headed for the mountains for a weekend of fun in the snow. The girls had a great time skiing and snowboarding with plenty of fresh snow. On Saturday night they ventured to the town to taste some of the  local cuisine and explore the town.

Gruyere and Maison Cailler

Some of the girls went on the Sunday activity to Gruyere. They had an hour to explore the quaint town before we moved on to Masion Cailler. This is the chocolate factory museum. It starts with a history in to the cacao bean and how chocolate originated and then goes through to a tasting. The girls got to taste 12 different samples of their chocolate.
