This Sunday was all about FUN FUN FUN!!
Yesterday afternoon Miss Monica visited Old Portena and as she will be the new House Tutor for the upcoming year. We had a lot to discuss during a small feast we organised in the house. Later the girls walked her around the campus for a nice ending of her visit.
Old Portena Ladies, with commitment and enthusiasm managed to sell all the cupcakes we prepared! Well done Ladies!!! Many thanks to Mrs Agata for making all our posters for this event.
Sakura spent her afternoon preparing and baking our cupcakes for tomorrow’s charity event! She also managed to sell some straight out of the oven! After all -she is interested in business as her future career!
Today the Old Portena Ladies spent their morning watching the Bol d’Or and having homemade sandwiches for their picnic lunch. The Bol d’Or Mirabaud is the most important inland lake regatta in the world. Started in 1939, it welcomes mono-hulls and multi hulls each year on Lake Geneva, starting in Geneva. More than 500 boats encounter each other on this 123 kilometer (66.5 nautical miles) course from Geneva to Le Bouveret and back.
