MADS (Make a Difference Society) is a school-based charity run by Caroline Ross. The club supports a variety of charities but its main charity is Save the Children Ghana – http://www.saveourlivesghana.nl/. Throughout the year MADS puts on a variety of fundraising activities and awareness activities for global issues, such as the freshwater problem on World Water Day, AIDS awareness on World AIDS day.
MADS also carries out the annual Gift Box Appeal which is an activity which prepares charity ‘Gift Boxes’ for disadvantaged children in Eastern Europe, the project is run in conjunction with the Middle and Primary Schools – the date to pick up the boxes is set for the 23rd of November 2011.
