Watu, officially known as “People’s Participation in Education” is a trust fund and a non-governmental organization. We solicit funds from both within and outside Tanzania. We encourage individuals and organizations to participate in the development of educational facilities. We try and help especially those who are underprivileged. We are located in Moshi, in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania.

At CDL, WATU is run by Jana Krainova in the High School and Stuart Valentine in the Middle School. The club puts on various fundraising activities throughout the year and organizes a biannual trip to Tanazania to work at the orphanage.
