Do you need a creative outlet for your CAS or Reach hours?

Come to Picasso and discuss your potential with Mrs Birt (

How, When, Where, What can be achieved with the right guidance.

Something appropriate for all confidence levels.

Art displays or constructive art lessons for 3-5 year olds.

It’s all creative, fun and worthwhile.

Come any time, Picasso’s always open.

CDL Yearbook

Activity name: Yearbook

When: Every Tuesday and Friday from 4 pm until 5/5.30 pm

What: With students from the High School we produce the CDL Highschool yearbook.

Who: Motivated students. Students sign for one group 

  • Photography ( they must have there one camera and be competent in this area) / 
  • Documentation ( no particular skills required)  / 
  • Layout ( must be able to work with photoshop, if they are new to photoshop they can observe us for a week and help the following.

Introduction to Clay Sculpture

Activity Name: Introduction to Clay Sculpture

When: Mondays from 4 to 5 and from 5:30 to 6::30  (possibly on Wednesdays if demand is great, class size limited to 12)

What: This broadly based course is an introduction to clay sculpture of modeled and constructed form. A variety of sculpture techniques (relief, coils, hand forming, sand pressing and glazing) and materials are used to develop skills and provide a basis for creative development aimed at gaining sensitivity in the composition, observation, and analysis of sculptural form.

Who: Students should be motivated to want to work and create with their hands.

Target age group l4 to l8
