This is the final journey the party rocks took. I had loads of fun, I learnt all about reading maps, planning in advance, carrying trees and also important life skills such as helping others. I helped out at the primary activities which involved me getting to work with kids and as part of an organising team. I also stayed active by doing sports like gymnastics and tennis and finally did baking to develop a new skill. These activities like the expedition showed me teamwork, organisation and what to change to progress.
During the hike I got closer to my group members and we have great memories from this trip such as carrying a tree, making and carrying all the essentials for the night, ect. An object that kept the teams spirit going was a banner we would make the person who’s birthday was closest. During our hike we saw many types of paths that we would stay on the opposite side of the circulation direction. If there wasnt we would stay on the path the whole time to avoid destroying nature.
Overall an amazing experience that I cant wait to do again next year Thanks to all the teachers that came with us and to the preparation they put in to make this trip a success.
