If there’s one thing which is taken seriously in Léman 2 it’s FIFA. Today the House Competition took place and Nurlan was our representative.

After a brilliant first match where he beat 4-1 a representative from Concha, the semi-final was a thrilling match with come-backs and a tight 4-3 score for our man. It was possibly the most exciting and uncertain match of the competition 🙂

Unfortunately in the final, an early red card left Nurlan playing only with 10 men and Champs-des-Bois gifted player didn’t allow Nurlan to play to his best but we’re fairly proud of his fantastic 2nd Place.

One of the greatest events in CDL life is the annual CDL Grand Prix. A great run around the campus where staff and students mix up for some fierce competition, fun… and some running too.

This week end we had the chance to go to the Geneva motor show and it has been amazing. We saw the newest tendencies in cars for the coming years and also the smartest designs of our time.

Dear friends of Léman 2.

We are now back from the Winter break. Ski week was a huge success and the 6 students who took part of this great week came back full of funny memories and lots of skiing to talk about.

Since our return we’ve been quite busy. The second marking period is now over and overall we’re pleased that for many of our boys, the GPAs have increased. This is absolutely fantastic and only shows how hard work and dedication can help the students. Well done boys!!!

On the same note, we’re preparing the Parents-Teachers conferences who will take place in mid-march. A great opportunity for teachers and students talk and discuss about performance and plan ahead for the remainder of the year.

In the Boarding House we’re now fully busy preparing the next house competition: the talent show. We’re happy to share with you our photo for the photo contest whose theme was “Joy”. Can you understand why Ivan is so joyful in this photo? 😉

To finish up, we are all looking forward now to the fresh and sunny days of spring… and we forget we’re still in winter. This is how we woke up this morning
