This past weekend at Olympus was a weekend of adventure and exploration, as students took part in various activities such as badminton, tennis, basketball, climbing, a trip to GruyΓ©res, Maison Cailler chocolate factory, and chess.

The badminton and tennis courts were alive with students playing matches against each other. It was an excellent opportunity for students to work on their footwork and serve while enjoying friendly competition. Some of the more experienced players even offered tips and advice to those new to the sport. Tim, Richard, Ivan, Gary. Billy and Murat had a nice badminton time as well as Bohdan in tennis.

The basketball court was filled with students playing games and practising their dribbling and shooting skills. The excitement and energy were contagious, with students cheering each other on and pushing themselves to do their best. Tim, Lael and Murat enjoyed a wonderful basketball time.

At the climbing wall, students challenged themselves to reach new heights and push beyond their limits. There was a sense of camaraderie as students encouraged each other to keep going, and many of them left feeling proud of their achievements. Aleksei and Herman had a great climbing time.

The trip to GruyΓ©res and Maison Cailler chocolate factory was a highlight of the weekend, with students getting the opportunity to explore the beautiful Swiss countryside, learn about Swiss culture, and indulge in some delicious chocolate. They also got to see how the chocolate was made and tried different flavours, which was a fun and educational experience. Otabek enjoyed this amazing trip.

Finally, the chess club was in session as students gathered to play matches with each other. There was a friendly and competitive atmosphere, with students honing their strategic and critical thinking skills. Nikolai, Artem and Adi had a fun chess games.

Overall, this weekend at Olympus School was a fantastic opportunity for students to explore their interests and develop new skills. Whether playing sports, climbing, or learning about Swiss culture, students had a great time and came away with new experiences and memories that they will cherish.
