Thanksgiving at CDL 🦃🍂🥰

Dear All,

This evening we enjoyed an incredible Thanksgiving feast prepared by the talented chefs here at CDL.

The star of the menu was turkey, of course, but in the true Thanksgiving spirit, we also had tons of side dishes to choose from, including corn on the cob, roasted sweet potatoes and carrots, mashed potatoes with gravy, and a homemade cranberry sauce. To top it off, we had two delicious desserts to choose from–an apple crumble, or the American classic, pumpkin pie!

We celebrated this occasion by going around the table and sharing what we are thankful for today. This was a very special moment filled with gratitude and thanks for our families, friends, our cozy home at CDL, and the opportunities provided to us.

Lots of love,

The St. Loup Team

Celebrating Excellence Week at Saint-Loup

Dear all,

This week, we are proud to celebrate Excellence Week at Collège du Léman, a time dedicated to recognizing the outstanding efforts and achievements of our students—both in the classroom and within the Boarding community.

In Saint-Loup 9, we would like to highlight Bisher for his remarkable contributions inside and outside the house. His kindness, courtesy, and respectful attitude are matched by an excellent academic record, an active sporting life, and an unwavering willingness to participate in every volunteer initiative that comes his way. From community projects to events like Samedi du Partage, where he will be helping collect food for those in need, Bisher consistently demonstrates a spirit of generosity and leadership.

Beyond his achievements, Bisher stands out as a role model for his peers—always ready to lend a hand, share a smile, and inspire others through his positive energy and commitment. We are proud to have him as part of our community and look forward to seeing all the great things he will continue to accomplish.

In Saint-Loup 4 we want to acknowledge Delara for exemplifying kindness and teamwork. Her thoughtful help in fixing a dress and coat demonstrated not only practical skill but also genuine care for others. Her actions embody the supportive environment we strive for.

Lebanese Dinner!

Dear all,

Tonight at CDL, we enjoyed a lovely Lebanese dinner together. We tried mezzes, Lebanese-style chicken, traditional rice, and a few other tasty dishes that everyone was happy to dig into. For dessert, we had an almond cake that was honestly amazing.

Lebanon has a really rich food culture, known for fresh ingredients, lots of herbs, and dishes meant to be shared. Fun fact: Lebanon is home to some of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, and the country enjoys over 300 days of sunshine each year—something that definitely shows in the brightness of their cuisine.

It was a great evening with good food and good vibes all around. 🇱🇧✨

As if that weren’t enough, Chady is also our House Captain for SL9, leading with enthusiasm and inspiring his peers every step of the way. We’re proud of everything you do and can’t wait to see what this year brings for you!

Wishing you a fantastic birthday filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Happy Birthday, Chady!

Great Weekend at Saint-Loup!

Dear all,

This weekend at Saint Loup was chill, even though the rain showed up Friday and Saturday. But the weather didn’t stop us from enjoying ourselves together.

On Saturday, we went climbing, tried our luck at bowling, did some artcrafts and took a peaceful walk under the rain. Later, we spent time wrapping up all the gifts we bought thanks to the money we raised at school for people in need — such a meaningful way to give back.

Despite the grey skies, laughter and teamwork filled the weekend. Moments like these remind us that even rainy days can be full of warmth.

South Korean International Dinner

Dear All,

Tonight, we enjoyed a South Korean-inspired feast!

The dining hall was decorated with South Korean flags, and the aroma of perfectly fried chicken filled the room. The menu included Korean fried chicken with a deliciously sticky sauce, mountains of noodles, scallion pancakes, fried tofu as a vegetarian option, and for dessert, a delicious bar of ice cream covered in a fruit purée! Of course, we also had gochujang, a popular Korean condiment, on the side to add to the delicious mix of flavours.

This meal was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and we can’t wait for next week’s International Dinner–Lebanon! Keep an eye out for more mouth-watering photos.

Lots of love,

Dinner at Home – Burgers!

Dear All,

Tonight at St. Loup 4 & 9, we enjoyed a deliciously satisfying dinner at home.

The main stars of the menu were the juicy burgers with cheese, caramelised onions, lettuce, tomato, and ketchup as topping options, making this meal entirely customisable! For sides, we had perfectly roasted baby potatoes and refreshing coleslaw. Dessert? Chocolate chip cookies, of course!

Dinner at home would not be complete without chatting about how everyone’s day went, and of course, loads of laughter! These monthly dinners offer a special opportunity to relax, unwind, and savour the moments together.

Lots of love,

The St. Loup Team

Baking with Delara ❤️

Delara spoiled us all by baking some delicious homemade brownies for the house! They were perfectly gooey on the inside, with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. Made with cocoa powder, dark and white chocolate chunks, and marshmallows – they really were the perfect brownies! She made enough to share with our neighbours over in Saint Loup 9, and of course they went down very well 🍪

Thank you, Delara! ❤️

This weekend in the Saint Loup villas! 🌿🍂

This weekend, the Saint Loup Villas were full of variety, with something for everyone to enjoy 🤗

The weather stayed pleasant, allowing some students to fit in a few rounds of golf before the snow season begins, while others took the chance to relax, cook, and spend time with friends. Heloisa invited a few friends over, and together they enjoyed a homemade steak dinner 🍖

As the weekend went on, celebrations continued with an Italian dinner on Saturday evening to mark Mimi’s 18th birthday from the previous weekend. The evening was filled with laughter, good food, and plenty of photos ❤️🧡

Between these moments of fun, students kept active with pilates and climbing, and some also set aside time to study and prepare for the week ahead 🌿

All in all, it was a relaxed and enjoyable weekend, with a perfect balance of activity, celebration, and downtime for both houses ☀️
