Internationalism: being a global citizen

This week at CollΓ¨ge du LΓ©man we are celebrating “internationalism” as part of our RISE program. We asked the girls to come up with what they understand as “being a global citizen”.

In addition, we also asked the girls to share with us something about their country. Could be a fun fact, something they love, or a tradition.

Love is in the air… πŸ’ŒπŸŒΉ

The best part of Valentine’s Day is that it’s not strictly reserved for romantic love between partners. Here in Boarding we also like to reinforce the meaning of having good friends and nourishing relationships, as we saw during the last Wellbeing Pillar. the love that comes from another friend it’s also a way of love, and it shouldn’t be excluded from this meaningful day.

Today students had the chance to send roses to their loved ones. You could see friends hugging each other and being thankful for their friendship while exchanging roses and cards.

The dining hall was beautifully decorated with heart-shaped chocolates and ornaments. The food was delicious and the students shared their excitement with one another, making the wait to go back home easier for everyone.
