Chess Club with Rochelle ♙♘♗♖♕♔♚♛♜♝♞♟

There is no doubt that board games are an excellent way to keep the mind active and refreshed. Every Sunday, Rochelle takes part in the Chess Club, where she not only enjoys the challenge of the game but also strengthens her critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In addition, this activity contributes to the completion of her IB1 academic program portfolio, making it both enriching and rewarding.

Respect Week: Caring for Our Environment Through Recycling

As part of Respect Week in our boarding community, one of our key focuses was respect for the environment. We believe that showing kindness is not only about how we treat each other, but also how we care for the world around us.Students took part in a recycling challenge, learning how small daily actions can make a big difference. From reducing food waste in the dining hall to sorting plastics, paper, and cans correctly, everyone played their part. By working together, we discovered that respecting the environment strengthens our sense of community and encourages us to live more thoughtfully. Recycling may seem simple, but it’s a powerful way to show gratitude for the resources we have and to protect them for the future. Respect Week reminded us that caring for the planet is one of the greatest signs of respect we can give.

Art Club with Cici and Abby

Every Saturday, Abby and Cici take part in the Art Club, where they continue to develop their creativity and artistic skills. Both students have expressed their aspiration to pursue Art at university, and we are confident that their talent, dedication, and passion will guide them toward a bright and successful future as artists. 🎨✨

🍽️ Creativity Beyond the Canvas

This weekend, Cici’s creativity didn’t stop at the art table ! It followed her all the way to the kitchen.

She took real pleasure in preparing her own meals, putting great care not only into the cooking but also into the presentation of her plate. Turning a simple dish into something beautiful and personal, she reminded us that creativity can shine in all aspects of daily life, even in what we eat!

Well done, Cici, for combining independence, style, and flavour!

🎨 Creativity, Commitment & Weekend Adventures at the Boarding House

This weekend, Cici and Abby fully embraced the art activity as an opportunity to explore their creativity. Through various techniques and materials, they found a space to express themselves freely and develop their artistic side. It’s always inspiring to see students use weekend activities not only to relax, but also to grow on a personal level.

At the same time, Ada dedicated her weekend to academic work. Focused and determined, she spent many hours revising and working through her assignments. Her perseverance and strong sense of purpose clearly show her commitment to achieving her goals.

Meanwhile, other boarders made the most of the weekend with different kinds of experiences:
Rochelle enjoyed an exciting trip to Europa Park with the boarding team.
Jasmine travelled to Denmark to spend quality time with her aunt.
Serena and Charly went home to enjoy a warm weekend with their families.
Abby joined her mother and uncle in Berlin, where they participated in the city’s marathon event.
– And Lucy (with a friend) took advantage of a peaceful getaway in a chalet in the Swiss mountains.

From creativity to commitment, from family moments to new adventures, our boarders continue to make the most of each opportunity to recharge, grow, and connect,  both inside and outside the boarding house.
