Recharging, Creating, and Connecting

This weekend was all about balance, energy, and good vibes for the girls in the house!

Cici and Abby took part in the Art Club and, as usual, enjoyed cooking together. They have developed a really nice routine and seem to be a strong support for each other. They also made the most of the weekend by sharing a dinner with friends in Geneva — a great mix of creativity, friendship, and independence.

Ada had an energetic outing at Gravity Park, a fun trampoline park where jumping, moving, and laughing are guaranteed! Trampolining is a great way to release energy, boost coordination, and clear the mind — and Ada found a nice balance between studying, having fun, and getting some well-deserved rest.

Jasmine spent time at the gym, one of her favourite activities. It helps her stay grounded, maintain a healthy rhythm, and release the stress of the week. Sport clearly plays an important role in her well-being and balance.

Lucy enjoyed spending time with a friend in Geneva and, at the same time, managed to keep a good balance between organisation, academic work, revision, and personal time — something that is very important to her.

Meanwhile, Charly, Serena, and Masha enjoyed a cosy weekend back home with their families, taking time to rest and recharge.

Overall, it was a positive, balanced, and refreshing weekend for everyone, combining movement, creativity, friendships, and quality time 🌈

✨ Escalade Celebration at the Boarding House! ✨

Tonight, our students proudly celebrated one of Geneva’s most beloved traditions: the breaking of the chocolate “marmite” for L’Escalade!

Following the custom, the youngest and the oldest of the house joined forces to break the marmite together — a symbolic moment that represents unity, courage, and community spirit. This year, Abby and Lucy had the honor of carrying on this beautiful Genevan tradition!

Laughter, excitement, and a bit of chocolate chaos filled the room as everyone gathered to cheer them on. It was a warm, joyful moment that brought all our students together and reminded us of the wonderful cultural heritage we get to experience here in Geneva.

“Ainsi périrent les ennemis de la République!”
And just like that, the marmite shattered—along with plenty of tasty chocolate shared by all!

A sweet and spirited evening we won’t forget! 🍫✨

Art Club – A Creative Journey with Cici & Abby

This week, Cici and Abby once again returned to the Art Club, a place that feels almost like a second home to them. Each session becomes a small journey where colours, shapes, and textures unfold like stories waiting to be told.

What makes their presence so special is the quiet passion they bring with them. They don’t just create; they transform simple materials into emotions, letting their imagination lead the way. Whether experimenting with new techniques or revisiting familiar ones, both girls move through the artistic process with curiosity, grace, and a true love for what they do.

Art Club is where they shine, not loudly, but beautifully, reminding us how creativity can be a gentle but powerful form of expression.

Well done, Cici and Abby. Your artistic spirit brings warmth and inspiration to our house.

Weekend Highlights at the Boarding House

This weekend was filled with creativity, movement, focus, and personal growth across the boarding community!

🎨 Rochelle and Cici took part in the Art Club, a space where imagination meets expression. With just a blank page and a pencil, they brought their ideas to life. Art offers a powerful outlet for creativity, emotional release, and self-reflection. It’s also a great way to unwind and recharge, a quiet moment to reconnect with oneself in the midst of a busy academic schedule.

🤸‍♀️ Abby and Cici headed to the trampoline park to let off some steam, and rightly so! After completing her SAT exam in preparation for university applications, Abby needed a way to release the stress. Trampolining isn’t just fun, it boosts mood, improves balance and coordination, and provides an intense full-body workout that leaves you feeling light and re-energized.

📚 Meanwhile, Jasmine and Lucy also sat for their SAT exams, an important milestone in their journey toward university. The girls are showing strong maturity and foresight, understanding how preparing early can help open up more opportunities for their academic and professional futures.

👩‍🍳 Ada joined the cooking class, an activity she regularly enjoys as a way to decompress. With the high expectations and goals she has set for herself this year, this hands-on creative outlet helps her relax and find balance. Cooking also teaches patience, focus, and is, of course , deliciously rewarding!

Each weekend, our students continue to impress us with how they invest in themselves, whether through learning, movement, or creative exploration. We’re proud to support them on their journeys!

🍽️ Creativity Beyond the Canvas

This weekend, Cici’s creativity didn’t stop at the art table ! It followed her all the way to the kitchen.

She took real pleasure in preparing her own meals, putting great care not only into the cooking but also into the presentation of her plate. Turning a simple dish into something beautiful and personal, she reminded us that creativity can shine in all aspects of daily life, even in what we eat!

Well done, Cici, for combining independence, style, and flavour!

🎨 Creativity, Commitment & Weekend Adventures at the Boarding House

This weekend, Cici and Abby fully embraced the art activity as an opportunity to explore their creativity. Through various techniques and materials, they found a space to express themselves freely and develop their artistic side. It’s always inspiring to see students use weekend activities not only to relax, but also to grow on a personal level.

At the same time, Ada dedicated her weekend to academic work. Focused and determined, she spent many hours revising and working through her assignments. Her perseverance and strong sense of purpose clearly show her commitment to achieving her goals.

Meanwhile, other boarders made the most of the weekend with different kinds of experiences:
Rochelle enjoyed an exciting trip to Europa Park with the boarding team.
Jasmine travelled to Denmark to spend quality time with her aunt.
Serena and Charly went home to enjoy a warm weekend with their families.
Abby joined her mother and uncle in Berlin, where they participated in the city’s marathon event.
– And Lucy (with a friend) took advantage of a peaceful getaway in a chalet in the Swiss mountains.

From creativity to commitment, from family moments to new adventures, our boarders continue to make the most of each opportunity to recharge, grow, and connect,  both inside and outside the boarding house.

Mountain Weekend in Verbier – A Tradition of Adventure and Friendship

Thist weekend, all of our boarding students came together for one of the highlights of our year: the Mountain Weekend in the stunning Swiss Alps. This annual tradition is not only a great way to kick off the year with fresh air and outdoor fun, but also an amazing opportunity for new students to make friends and connect with the boarding community.

We were lucky to enjoy very beautiful weather throughout the weekend, which made the experience even more memorable. The girls took part in a variety of exciting mountain activities, including hiking, rock climbing, and mountain biking. These activities pushed them out of their comfort zones while allowing them to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Swiss mountains.

At the same time, in the village of Verbier where we were staying, the famous Spartan Race was taking place. This intense obstacle course covers several kilometers and includes challenges such as carrying heavy objects and climbing high walls. Our students had a great time watching the athletes take on these physical tests, it was both inspiring and entertaining!

The Mountain Weekend is a cherished boarding tradition, and each year it helps our students discover new passions, enjoy the natural beauty of Switzerland, and build strong friendships that last all year long. With fresh mountain air, plenty of sports, and lots of laughter, this was the perfect way to start the school year on a high note!
