Sofiya’s 18th birthday ๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽ‚

Tonight we celebrated Sofiya’s 18th birthday! We reunited in the kitchen to sing Happy Birthday and share a delicious cheesecake. We enjoyed a lovely evening where the girls disconnected, for 30 minutes, from their exams and their studies.

Sofiya, we wish you all the best on this day; be as amazing as you always are, and don’t let anyone tell you what you can or can’t achieve. We are very proud of you!

Staying Active, Staying Focused

With spring bringing new energy and final exams just around the corner, our weekend activities offered students a much-needed break. Aleja took part in a tennis session, staying active and engaged. Meanwhile, Manuela joined a body shaping class โ€” an ideal way to release tension and refocus as she prepares for her end-of-year assessments. These moments of movement and mindfulness help our students stay balanced and motivated.

24 Hours Running Challenge

We invite our staff & students to take part in an extraordinary event 17th may: a 24-hour non-stop run to support cancer research. Whether they’re an experienced runner, a casual walker, or just want to be part of something meaningful, everyone is welcome.

How it works:
The event runs continuously for 24 hours. They can participate solo or as part of a team and take turns running or walking. They choose how long and how far they want to goโ€”every step counts!

Why we run:
All funds raised will go directly to cancer research. By joining us, They’re helping to support new treatments, give hope to patients, and work toward a future without cancer.

This is more than a raceโ€”it’s a movement.

May Fitness Challenge

We are pleased to introduce the May Fitness Challenge!

Each day, students will be challenged to try a different activity and will be able to win special rewards at the end of the month! With this initiative, we want students to forget about their textbooks for 5 minutes a day and get involved in some stress-relieving activities before their end-of-year exams next month.

Easter Break Vibes at the Boarding School ๐ŸŒธ

As Easter break begins, our boarding house feels a little quieterโ€ฆ Many of our students have headed home to spend time with their families, enjoy some well-deserved rest, and soak up the first real signs of spring. The air is getting warmer, the days a bit longer, and thereโ€™s a gentle energy that reminds us: brighter days are ahead.

This time of year always feels a bit special. After months of winter routines, there’s something refreshing about stepping outside without a coat, hearing birds in the morning, and knowing that summer isnโ€™t too far away.

But as lovely as the break is, we all know whatโ€™s waiting when we come back: the final stretch. Just a few weeks left before exams begin and we wrap up another school year. Itโ€™s that time to stay focused, support each other, and make the most of these last moments together before summer takes us in different directions.

To all our boarders, we hope you’re taking time to relax, recharge, and come back ready to finish the year strong. We believe in you ๐Ÿ’ชโœจ

International Dinners: Russian Edition ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿช†

Tonight’s International Dinner spotlighted the rich flavors of Russia, bringing warmth and tradition to the table. Kseniia was thrilled to share some of her favorite dishes from home, starting with a hearty serving of beef stroganoff. Tender strips of beef in a creamy mushroom sauce made for the perfect comfort food. For dessert, they served Napoleon cakeโ€”a decadent, multi-layered treat with flaky pastry and sweet custard that had everyone going back for seconds. Russiaโ€™s rich culinary heritage came alive through the laughter, aromas, and shared platesโ€”another delicious reminder of how food can bring people together.

Dinner in the House: Middle East ๐Ÿฅ™

Last night, our monthly house dinner brought everyone together for a cozy evening of good food and even better company. This time, we went with a crowd favoriteโ€”kebab night! The savory aroma of grilled chicken filled the kitchen as platters of juicy, perfectly spiced kebabs were served alongside fresh salads, warm pita, and a variety of tasty sauces. Whether wrapped up in flatbread or eaten straight off the skewer, every bite was a hit.

These monthly dinners have become a special tradition in the house, offering a chance to unwind, share stories, and bond over food. Itโ€™s more than just dinnerโ€”itโ€™s a way to create memories and strengthen the sense of community weโ€™ve built together. With full bellies and happy hearts, weโ€™re already looking forward to what next monthโ€™s dinner will bring.

A Choco-licious Celebration ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿฐ

If there is one thing Ada loves more than the French language, that is chocolate. In any form, any flavour and any color. This weekend, one of the biggest chocolate festivals in Switzerland took place in Versoix: the Festichoc event. Ada and her friend visited the Salon des Artisans, a 2,100-square-meter space housing over 30 chocolatiers across French Switzerland. Although there were many people, they enjoyed some free chocolate samples and took plenty of pictures of many chocolate sculptures.
