The boys have had a lovely weekend here. The April Break is approaching incredibly fast so we made the most of the past few day as we could, and with the sun out and warm weather everywhere – it would have been rude not to! From weekend activities, Laser Tag, afternoon trips into Geneva, celebrating birthdays, and still (somehow!) plenty of energy afterwards for some playing games outside in the fresh evening air! It’s been a treat!

Our Spring Concert was a spectacular showcase of the incredible talent within our school community! The students delivered mesmerising performances, captivating the audience. Fantastic well done to Mana for giving it his all on the violin!
A huge congratulations to all the students who participated and to all those behind the scenes who made the event such a memorable success!

Today, we had the pleasure of sharing Indian food. Our meal featured Butter Chicken, along with Indian vegetables & rice on saffron, a fragrant and colorful side that perfectly complemented the meal.
Indian cuisine is famous for its use of spices like turmeric, cumin, and cardamom, which give its dishes their bold flavors. Saffron, one of the worldโs most expensive spices, is often used in Indian rice dishes to add both color and a subtle floral taste.
Did you know that India is the largest producer of spices in the world? The country grows and exports a huge variety of spices that are used in kitchens across the globe. Another fun factโButter Chicken, or Murgh Makhani, was created in the 1950s in Delhi and has since become one of the most popular Indian dishes worldwide!
It was a delicious dinner that gave us a small taste of Indiaโs rich food culture.

What an amazing weekend we’ve had at Champs des Bois! With the sun shining brightly, we really enjoyed the spring weather.
The highlight of our weekend was the Accrobranche Trip. We ventured to an adventure park nestled in Geneva’s natural surroundings, where we tackled various climbing courses and exhilarating zip lines. Initially, some of us felt a bit apprehensive about the heights, but by the end of the day, everyone had conquered their fears and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
This adventure provided us with thrilling challenges and also strengthened our bonds as we supported each other through each course. We’re already looking forward to our next escapade!

Donny and Chikaโs trip to Champery was a great experience. They spent three days skiing on the slopes, enjoying the fresh snow and beautiful views. After each day on the mountain, they relaxed in the hotelโs heated pool, which was a perfect way to unwind. The hotel provided a comfortable and cozy place to rest after their activities.
To finish their trip, Donny and Chika joined a disco party at the hotel. The music and atmosphere made it a fun way to celebrate the end of their vacation. They spent the night dancing and enjoying the time together, making it the perfect conclusion to their skiing adventure in Champery.

We are thrilled to announce that our boys have secured first place in the annual Boarding Talent Show! ๐
After lots of dedicated practice and preparation, they delivered a performance that really captivated the audience. Their energy, teamwork, and passion shone brightly on stage, making this victory well-deserved. We couldn’t be prouder of them!

Today, Mana and Ethan took the stage in a Drama Show at the school, bringing ancient myths and the changing of the seasons to life! They both did an amazing job, and we could tell they really enjoyed being part of the performance.
Of course, Chika and Donny wouldnโt have missed it for the worldโthey were in the audience, cheering them on and enjoying the show from start to finish.
It was a fantastic experience for everyone, and weโre so proud of our Champs des Bois actors! ๐๐ฌ

Today, we had the pleasure of sharing Greek food at home. Our meal started with Tzatziki & crunchy raw vegetables, followed by Chicken Souvlaki wrapped in warm Pita bread, and for dessert, we enjoyed Greek yogurt with honey and fresh fruit.
Greek cuisine is all about fresh ingredients, simple combinations, and bold flavors. Olive oil, yogurt, and herbs like oregano and mint are key elements in many traditional dishes. Pita bread and souvlaki (grilled meat skewers) are staples of Greek street food, enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
Did you know that Greece is one of the worldโs biggest producers of olives? Some olive trees there are over 2,000 years old and still produce olives today! Another fun factโGreek yogurt is famous for being thicker and creamier than regular yogurt, thanks to its special straining process.

What a fantastic evening itโs been!
Tonight, the Boarding Community came together for the annual Boarding Talent Show โ and what a show it was. The range of talent on display was truly impressive. A huge congratulations to everyone who performed, those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the night such a success, and of course, to our judges (who Iโm sure had the tough job of picking the well-deserved winners)!!
Our boys decided to team up and perform their favourite songs, complete with choreographed routines. After weeks of practice and preparation, their hard work absolutely paid off โ they were nothing short of amazing! We couldnโt be prouder of their energy, teamwork, and incredible performance.
