Dear all,
Today, we had the pleasure of sharing Indian food. Our meal featured Butter Chicken, along with Indian vegetables & rice on saffron, a fragrant and colorful side that perfectly complemented the meal.
Indian cuisine is famous for its use of spices like turmeric, cumin, and cardamom, which give its dishes their bold flavors. Saffron, one of the world’s most expensive spices, is often used in Indian rice dishes to add both color and a subtle floral taste.
Did you know that India is the largest producer of spices in the world? The country grows and exports a huge variety of spices that are used in kitchens across the globe. Another fun fact—Butter Chicken, or Murgh Makhani, was created in the 1950s in Delhi and has since become one of the most popular Indian dishes worldwide!
It was a delicious dinner that gave us a small taste of India’s rich food culture.
