Midweek Treats – Dinner at Home

Dear all,

The boys were treated to something extra special today — a delicious fusion of flavours that brought big smiles all around. We kicked things off with a beautiful Italian lasagna and salad prepared by the amzing cooking team in the Leman Cafeteria, paired perfectly with a rich touch of Raclette goodness, courtesy of our very own Mr. Andrés. To top it all off, we wrapped up with a well-deserved ice cream outing.

It’s important to savour the little joys in life whenever and wherever we can. And with the sun shining down on us today, we thought — why not? A perfect day for a shared meal, good company, and great vibes.

An unforgettable weekend: BBQ, biking, and great company

Dear all,

This weekend was a bit different as we gathered for a BBQ at Terray and Champs de Bois, all together in the CDB garden. We had a great time enjoying music, bacon cheeseburgers, sausages, steaks, and some typical Spanish snacks. It was a perfect afternoon to relax and spend quality time with everyone.

In addition to the BBQ, we also went for a bike ride as part of our training for the upcoming bike trip around the lake. It was a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather, which seems to be here to stay.

We’re sharing some photos from the amazing weekend we had. Enjoy!

Kiwi Vibes at Dinner Time

Dear all,

Tonight, we had the chance to enjoy a New Zealand-style dinner. It gave us a great glimpse into the flavors and feel of Kiwi cuisine—simple, fresh, and comforting.

New Zealand food often highlights local ingredients like lamb, seafood, and root vegetables. One of the most traditional ways of cooking, especially for the Māori people, is the hāngi, where food is slow-cooked underground using heated stones. It’s not something we could recreate tonight, but it’s a big part of their food culture!

Did you know that New Zealand has more sheep than people? There are about 5 million people and over 25 million sheep! It’s also one of the few places where you can go from the beach to the mountains in under an hour. The country’s love for nature shows up in its food too—local, seasonal, and full of flavor.

Even without knowing all the names of what we tried, it was a lovely and relaxed dinner with a Kiwi touch.

Rain or Shine, Champs des Bois Keeps Rolling!

This weekend at Champs des Bois, we might have been a bit waterlogged, but that didn’t dampen our spirits! ☔️

On Saturday, we geared up for a bike training session around the scenic routes of Versoix, preparing ourselves for the upcoming Léman Journey in June. Despite the drizzle, our enthusiasm kept us pedaling through the beautiful landscapes.

Sunday brought out our creative sides at the Art Club. The students let their imaginations run wild, producing some truly impressive artwork. It’s always inspiring to see their creativity flourish, regardless of the weather.

Rain or shine, nothing stops the Champs des Bois crew from making the most of our weekends! 🌧️🚴‍♂️🎨
