Celebrating L’Escalade at Boarding

Tonight, we celebrated L’Escalade, a cherished Geneva tradition! We brought out the famous marmite (the chocolate cauldron), and as tradition dictates, the oldest and youngest in the house joined forces to break it—symbolizing unity and victory.

Before the big moment, we enjoyed a video prepared by Adi and Louis, two of our boarding prefects, who explained the history behind the marmite and this special day. Paul David and Yuxuan also shared what they knew about the story, adding even more depth to the celebration.

Once the marmite was broken, we all indulged in delicious chocolate and wrapped up what was a meaningful and joyful evening. A great way to honor Geneva’s history and spend time together as a boarding family!

Boarding Winter Concert: A Magical Evening

This evening at 18:00, we gathered in the Eiger Auditorium for a truly magical event—the Boarding Winter Concert. Our talented boarders took the stage and filled the room with music, dance, and festive cheer.

The evening opened with an energetic performance by Paul David, who wowed the audience with three different hip-hop dances. From there, the program continued with a wonderful variety of acts: students playing the piano, dancing, and even performing on the ukulele. Samuel added a special touch by singing Celebrate, and to close the evening, he delighted everyone with a heartfelt rendition of Feliz Navidad, wishing us all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

It was a night filled with laughter, joy, and unforgettable moments—a perfect way to celebrate the season together.
