Singapore International Dinner

Dear all,

On Wednesday evening, our boarding house had the opportunity to attend the International Dinner hosted at Leman, which this week highlighted the culinary traditions of Singapore. The dining hall featured thoughtful cultural details that reflected the city‑state’s unique blend of influences, creating an inviting setting for the evening.
Students enjoyed a selection of classic Singaporean dishes, including chicken rice, laksa, and stir‑fried noodles. For many, it was an introduction to new flavours; for others, it offered a familiar taste of home. The dinner encouraged conversation, cultural curiosity, and a shared appreciation for Singapore’s diverse food culture.
Participating in events like this strengthens our sense of community and provides meaningful opportunities to explore global traditions together. We look forward to future international dinners and the cultural experiences they bring.
