Primary Shakespeare Production 🎭

Dear all,

This morning our Grade 5 students – Chika and Donny – participated in a Shakespeare Showcase, their unique take on ‘Romeo & Juliet’, that was performed in small scattered scetions around the Concha Garden. It was a really original way to show off the play, and the kids did fantastic; across the board!

Well done to Chika, Donny, all the kids, and everyone who helped make the event happen – it was brilliant!

Leaving Our Mark🎨

Dear all,

As the year comes to a close, the boys marked our time together with a simple heartfelt art project—pressing their painted hands onto a shared canvas. (I think it is safe to say the ensuing chaos goes without saying!) It’s a colorful reminder of the bonds we’ve built since August. 🖌️

Please see the finished project below!

The CDB lads pushed themselves to the limit over the past few days, and even more so on the final stretch of their cycling adventure, and the pride on their faces said it all. This journey was more than just a ride—it was a lesson in grit, and discovering just what you’re truly capable of.

A massive shoutout to Mr. Mike for making this experience possible through his tireless efforts. Also, a big thanks to all those who accompanied them on this journey!

We are all massively proud of the boys and their incredible accomplishment!

A Slice of Summer

Dear all,

While our Middle Schoolers were off on their cycling adventure around Lac Léman, life on campus was anything but quiet. With the summer breeze in the air, how could it be?

On Saturday, the boys of CDB and the girls of Terray rolled up their sleeves for some baking fun, followed by a shopping trip into Versoix. The day wrapped up perfectly with a cosy Movie Night. Sunday brought a splash of excitement—literally—as everyone headed to the Concha Swimming Pool for a refreshing and laughter-filled afternoon.

To cap off the weekend, we created a beautiful montage of memories from the past year. Soon to be displayed in our hallway, it’s a heartfelt tribute to the moments we’ve shared and the journey we’ve taken together.

Chill Reading Sessions 📖

Dear all,

What’s stood out recently is how wisely the boys have begun to use their time. With evenings often swept up by activities or unexpected changes, they’ve started making intentional choices during the day—especially during study hall—to stay on top of things and keep growing.

Rather than letting busy days be an excuse, they’re using their initiative to make the most of quiet moments, often turning to books once assignments are done. It’s not about having more time—it’s about using the time they do have well. Reading, for now, may still feel like a chore, but slowly they’ll be all grown up and look back with a smile, realising how special it was to have the freedom to read what they wanted, right at the moment when they were “meant” to be studying!
