Today was the last day of school before the February Break. Few of our students had the opportunity to go Ice Skating with their class. Helmets, Gloves, and Genuine Smile were mandatory. They had a great day before a well-deserved break.

Today our little boarders had the amazing and exceptional chance to visit a Dinosaure exposition in Geneva.  Full of gigantic reproductions of T-Rex, little rubber stegosaurus or Human size plastic Dino Eggs, this exposition didn’t let anyone insensitive. Definitely, a visit that they will remember for at least 65 million years.

Firdavs discovered climbing in October when he joined our boarding community. Since then he has really appreciated practising this sport with his friends on Saturdays. Concentration, precision and analysis are the main skills you need to reach the top, what he does brilliantly.

This Saturday the two young brothers Louis and Eason played Tennis with their mates. they stayed for almost 3 hours doing their best and pushing each other to the edge of the field. Their brotherhood shared on the court, was a good example to others students, it was a demonstration of support and care. The spirit of true champions.

Each Saturday morning, our young Boarders have the chance to try new activities and develop their skills in different domains:

Liam & Nicholas tried the cooking workshop; and prepared a delicious Spanish dish: Tortilla de patata a unique mix of vegetables, spices, eggs and potatoes.

What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the term, before leaving for the Christmas holidays, by having a wonderful dinner surrounded by friends.

Tonight is a big night for the boarding !!!!
We have a diner all together to celebrate; the end of the first term, Christmas, and mostly to welcome the upcoming year.
Our girls and boys put on their finest dresses and most elegant suits to give a great impression before living for a well-deserved holiday.

On this Saturday afternoon, we took the opportunity of having great weather to go up in the mountains to play in the snow, after what we had a nice hot Chocolate in the chalet nearby.

Saturday mornings are a great way to start the weekend by exploring hobbies, passions and discovering new activities.
For his second lesson, Matvei show more and more interest in photography and try to improve his style in each new shot.
Higher and harder is Firdavs motto for a climbing session that he likes to practice each Saturday, so he can warm his body for the whole weekend and be more energetic.
Liam, Zhiyu & Nicholas made delicious Christmas cookies that they shared with everyone in the afternoon while we had a nice hot chocolate.
Mikaella on her side always appreciates spending time with her blue-eyed poney.

Tonight we celebrated “Escalade” a traditional Geneva festival that celebrates the victory of the Geneva republic against the Savoy’s Army in 1602. Each year we buy a chocolate marmite full of candies. By tradition, the youngest and the eldest person in the room smash it.
