I’m not sure if the children would agree to this lovely quote from Roald Dahl nevertheless it’s so lovely to see them reading after school. What kind of stories and imaginative things could be going through their minds? To read is a great habit to have and we fully encourage our youngest boarding students to take a full advantage of our well stacked bookshelves.

There has been some cold weather this winter and a lot of snow for this area of Switzerland, but very special and fun for our little explorers.

Happy Chinese New Year. We welcomed the Year of the Ox with a lovely feast and surrounded with our close friends and housemates. We wish you all the best for this year and all to come!

Nice walk to school. We had a nice talk about positive friendships and learnt a lot about the boys’ friends.

Yesterday our boys went to ski in Morgins (Valais), but strangely everything was brown and orange…  It’s not an Instagram filter as you might think, but a sandstorm from Sahara!!! Still our boys appreciated to ski and had a lot of fun.

This weekend was the hardest ski day, the weather conditions were a real challenge for all the CDL students, and our boys showed how tough they are, no complaints at all, just good time on the slopes.

At CDL we would like to help keep the planet clean and collaborate with our community. We want to raise awareness among our children about the importance of taking care of the planet while helping our neighbourhood.This Sunday our children have joined the initiative to pick up litter around the neighbourhood and we are very happy with their attitude.

This Saturday the guys from CDB really enjoyed skiing in Villars. It is impressive how quickly our little skiers are improving their ski level. A perfect combination of fresh snow, a sunny day and a very good attitude. We are very proud of you! Bravoooo

Thanks to Mrs.Jody, we took the opportunity to decorate the jar of good memories.
Each kid take a moment to write down a good memory that he have in the boarding house and put it in the jar, so we can still remembrer this moment long time after.
