Well-being Pillar 2

Our second pillar of well-being has begun and we are talking about Diversity and Bullying. As CDL is an International School there is already such great diversity all over campus so for Champs des Bois’ Individual Project the children have chosen someone they know and have written 10 things they like and 5 differences they have with this person. It’s really nice to read what lovely things our boys at CDB have written down.

Well done Mini-Superheroes!

Folding Clothes Together!

Mr. Sergio started the first little lesson on how to fold our clothes properly and how to have nice organised cupboards and drawers. As you may notice here, Sacha is absolutely brilliant at this showing all the boys in the house that he is a pro at folding. Next we are going to look at how to keep their cupboard neat and tidy. Also, we will see other different ways of folding and maybe do some speed contests in the future, let’s see how it goes…

Running Some Laps

Working on our fitness and making sure we don’t forget about are Wellbeing Pillar 1 of Healthy Body and Healthy Mind. The boys ran 10 laps around our football pitch and showed great rhythm and a steady pace. We are very proud of these mini-athletes.

After this we made sure to make the most of the weather, we played a football match and got on our bikes since we hadn’t gone for a ride in quite a while.

Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Ivor and Mr. Stรฉphane prepared some delicious chocolate chip cookies for the whole house. Everyone was very grateful to dig in to these lovely treats. The spectacular photos are taken by Leon. Sorry that there isn’t a picture of the final result, Little Leon had put down the camera and picked up a cookie!

Strike A Pose!

Little Leon was very enthusiastic to find the perfect snaps today. He has taken some really lovely shots and seems very keen on learning more about cameras and photography!

Scary ๐Ÿ‘ป but Fun ๐Ÿคฉ

The entire house was celebrating Halloween tonight ๐ŸŽƒ The boys went trick or treating, stopping off for sweets and scares at a few on-campus boarding houses. The night was fun and spooky, with a thick, eerie fog that just added to the Halloween atmosphere.ย Sweets, costumes and masks were everywhere, a lot of fun and joy was shared tonight.

Zhiyu Soccer Skills After Juventus Camp

Zhiyu came back from the Juventus Camp he went to during the October break even better that he already was.

His skills have improved and we are very proud of our little soccer player.
