Happy Holidays from Franconis 🎄✨

As December arrives and the year begins to slow down, we would like to take a moment to wish all our Franconis families a very happy holiday season.

The past months have been full of energy, growth, and memorable moments from busy school days and house activities to shared meals, traditions, and celebrations together. We are proud of how the boys have approached the term, supporting one another and contributing positively to life in the house.

We hope the coming weeks offer time to rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends, wherever the holidays may be spent. We look forward to welcoming everyone back, refreshed and ready for the new year ahead.

Warm holiday wishes from all of us in Franconis, and best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year. 🌟

A Special Evening in Franconis 🌟

This week, we held our final Boarding Assembly before the break, where Antonio presented the cultural diversity section, sharing insights into Italy and its traditions.

After the assembly, we came together in the house to spend some time as a group, marking Loris’s final night in Franconis. The evening ended on a fun note, with Loris and Antonio making a few TikToks to seal the night and share some laughs.

A meaningful and memorable way to head into the break.

Winter Ball Weekend in Franconis ✨❄️

This weekend, Franconis was full of excitement as the boys prepared for and enjoyed the Winter Ball. It was great to see everyone looking so smart and enjoying the buzz leading up to the evening.

The ball itself was a fantastic event full of music, laughter, and memorable moments shared with friends.

After the celebrations, the weekend also allowed time to relax, recharge, and reflect on a special evening together. A lovely balance of celebration and downtime, and a reminder of the strong sense of community within boarding.

A wonderful Winter Ball weekend and another great memory made as a house. ✨

Celebrating La Nuit de l’Escalade 🎉🍫

Tonight in Franconis, we marked La Nuit de l’Escalade with the classic Geneva tradition of breaking the marmite. Together we gathered, counted down, and smashed the chocolate pot — a fun and symbolic moment the boys always enjoy.

Inside were the sweets, but more importantly, the reminder of the phrase we say each year: “Ainsi périrent les ennemis de la République!”

It was a great way to come together as a house, share some laughs, and take part in one of Geneva’s most beloved traditions. A simple but special moment to end the evening.

A Weekend of Achievement and Celebration

This weekend was full of energy, pride, and smiles here in the boarding community. Our students took part in the famous Escalade run in Geneva — a vibrant event that brings together thousands of runners each year. Despite the rainy weather, our boys showed tremendous spirit. From strong finishes to determined efforts, every student who took part demonstrated commitment, resilience, and a fantastic attitude. We were truly proud to cheer them on!

Back at the house, we shifted from running shoes to celebration mode as we gathered to celebrate Loris’s birthday. The boys enjoyed cake, music, and a warm atmosphere that perfectly reflected the supportive and family-like environment we strive to create. It was a lovely moment of togetherness, rounding off a weekend that highlighted both individual achievement and the strength of our community.

Here’s to more memorable weekends ahead!
