The best people to give a testimonial about the boarding life experience are the ones that are concerned the most: the Students.

Tonight we had dinner in the house.

On the menu was Thai salad, Sweet and sour beef and wok tofu. As you can see we had mixed reviews regarding each dish 😅

Even in high school, it’s challenging to make them eat vegetables😉

The boys spent another amazing weekend in the Swiss Alps.  Micha, Jamil & Lyam went skiing on both days, while Armin was Snowboarding.

Diego played Bowling on Saturday morning, enjoyed some sports games in the afternoon and did climbing on Sunday.

Taha left for a passionate excursion for the whole day on Saturday and did some sports games on Sunday.

All 6 of them came back very tired but also very happy .

This was our first weekend all together as the Concha Annexe Boarding House in 2023 !!!
The boys took part in different activities;

• Diego tried Climbing, for the first time in his life, and he really enjoyed this sport that requires focus, precision and  a lot of coordination.
• Jamil is a regular member of the Running Club on Saturday mornings. We have the chance to have a running path way that follow the river La Versoix. It gives  the opportunity to the students to do sport in nature.
• On Sunday, Armin, Lyam, Micha, Taha and Jamil went to an Escape Room Game in Geneva. in spite of our team effort and hard work , we still didn’t menage to beat the room and go out in less than an our. We will try better next time.

Tonight we had our first dinner in the House altogether.
We shared an Indian meal based on Rice and Vegetables.
We explained to them the importance of trying different types of food and took a moment to discuss our thoughts about spicy food. Each one of us had a different appreciation of what is “too spicy” 🙂

Today is our first snow in Geneva but it is also the first time that our new student Diego sees Snow !!!

He was excited and impressed by the postcard image of our Boarding Life in Switzerland. Many more surprises are upcoming.

But for now, Let it snow !

Today, Taha, with eleven other CDL boarders, took part in the Escalade Running Race. This event is held each year in Geneva.

It celebrates an important event in our city’s history; the victory over the french invader in December 1602.

Yesterday evening we celebrated the famous American Thanksgiving. We tried to share the values of this celebration all together like friendship, respect and turkey ;).

Jamil attended the running club on Saturday.

He really had a lot of fun. Other of his roommates expressed their willingness to join the club and run together on Saturdays.
