This week, in one of our last international dinners, our amazing dining team took us on a culinary trip to Brazil! Tender pork feijoada, crispy chicken, fluffy rice and a delicious pineapple salad were all on the menu, providing us with some excellent insights into the flavours and culinary practices of Brazil. As well as being the home of various excellent things including joga bonita, the Amazon rainforest and the incredible Christ the Redeemer statue, Brazil is host to a broad array of ingredients and numerous complex and deep flavours, some of which we discovered today. The boys ate in the evening sun on the lawns of the Concha boarding house, enjoying the cool summer breeze, catching up with peers and sharing stories and future plans.
