These two boys have shown they are mature, responsible and willing to positively contribute to our Boarding House and the school. They will be supporting the Houseparents as well as the other students. Thanks boys.

This weeks House Assembly continues along the theme of building friendships. Chamseddine led the assembly and came up with a game that was based around teamwork.

Two people were given two pieces of paper with one saying “Take” and the other saying “Share”. House privellages were announced and two players had to submit their answers. If they both submitted “Take” neither got anything. If they both submitted “Share” they got to share the prize. If one submitted “Take” and the other “Share” then the one who submitted “Take” selfishly got the prize to himself.

I am pleased to say this did not happen and all the boys worked together as a team and shared all the privileges between them.

Last Saturday morning, Chams and Arian grasped the amazing opportunity to go Wakeboarding on the fresh waters of Lake Geneva.

This evening, Concha Annexe had our weekly House assembly. The boys completed tasks to learn more about one another. We then discussed important ways in which we could establish positive relationships with others and what things prevent us in building these positive friendships. The boys came up with some great ideas and worked well together in their pairs.

A perfect Sunday afternoon for a swing on the golf course.

On Saturday morning, Laith, Arian and Chams signed up for the ‘Banana Boating’ activity on the stunning Lake Geneva. It was a beautiful, fresh morning and the water was warm. Most of all, it was a lot of fun!!!!

On Thursday, we had Jeune Genevois here in Switzerland. As there was no school, the students were given the opportunity to a glacier in Chamonix, France. Laith and many other Boarding students enjoyed the spectacular views and the famous train ride up to the top.

This weekend, Bogdan and many other new students got the opportunity to visit Geneva by boat and discover all the culture the city has to offer.
