Talent Show 2018
Last week the girls took part in the latest House Competition – the Talent Show. Great fun was had by all and it was fantastic to see the acts from all the other houses. Well done girls!
Choir
This weekend saw the introduction of a new Saturday activity: choir.
Celine, Romina, Helen, Natalina, Olivia and Scarlett all took part and loved it – maybe we have a New Portena girl band in the making!
Red Cross Museum
On Sunday our Grade 9s visited the Red Cross Museum in Geneva and learnt about the work they do across the globe.

Ski Weekend 2
Another weekend spent in the glorious sun over the mountains of Crans Montana.
First Ski Weekend
The girls had a great time during their first Ski Weekend away in Crans Montana enjoying a range of activities including skiing, snowboarding and ice skating.
We can’t wait to get back up on the mountains on Friday!
Aquatis Trip
The first weekend of the new term has come and gone and today the girls enjoyed a trip to the new aquarium Aquatis, in Lausanne.
We learnt about freshwater fish and habitats across all continents of the globe, and some of the girls even decided to be part of the Komodo Dragon exhibit.
Christmas Break
The first term has drawn to a close and the girls are slowly leaving New Portena and heading back to their family and friends for a well deserved break. The past few months have flown by with the girls showing dedication to their studies as well as engaging in a wide variety of activities and house events.
Last Saturday we celebrated all our achievements at the Christmas Dance, a lovely evening including a delicious meal followed by a dance, partly DJed by our very own Natalina!
