Hello and welcome back to Olympus Boarding House! It’s great to have you back after the February break. We hope you had a restful and enjoyable break and are ready to get back into the swing of things.

The Olympus House wishes all our students, families and agents a happy holiday week. We are already looking forward to seeing all our kids again.
The boarding house will open again on Saturday 25th February from 9am.

Moroccan gastronomy is a vibrant and diverse cuisine that is a blend of Berber, Arab, and Mediterranean influences. With its bold flavours and rich textures, it is a feast for the senses.
Tagines, slow-cooked stews of meat, vegetables, and spices, are one of Morocco’s most iconic dishes. They are traditionally cooked in a clay pot and served with couscous or bread. Other Moroccan specialities include a hearty soup made with lentils, chickpeas, and tomatoes, and bastille, a sweet and savoury pastry filled with pigeon meat, almonds, and spices.
Moroccan cuisine is also known for its use of fragrant herbs and spices, such as cumin, coriander, saffron, and cinnamon. Mint tea is a popular drink that is often served with sweet pastries or dates.
Overall, Moroccan gastronomy is a delightful blend of flavours, aromas, and textures that is sure to leave a lasting impression on anyone who experiences it.

This weekend at Olympus Boarding House was filled with excitement and fun as students participated in various activities such as badminton, tennis, basketball, climbing, cooking, and chess.
The badminton and tennis courts were bustling with activity as students took to the courts to play matches with each other. There was a friendly competition in the air as students showed off their skills and cheered each other on. Many students also took the opportunity to learn new techniques and improve their skills. Bohdan have an amazing tennis time!
The basketball court was also filled with students playing fast-paced games, with many of them showcasing their agility and teamwork skills. The climbing wall was a popular destination for students who love to challenge themselves, with many of them reaching new heights and feeling a sense of accomplishment. Tim, Murat and Artem had a lovely basketball time at the same time that Aleksei showed his climbing skills.
Richard enjoyed and had a wonderful cooking time!
Finally, the chess club was in session as students gathered to play matches with each other. There was a friendly atmosphere as students shared tips and tricks, and cheered each other on. The chess matches were a great way for students to develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It was a nice chess time for Artem, Adi and Imanali.
Overall, this past weekend at Olympus Boarding House was a huge success, with students participating in a variety of activities and having a great time. Whether playing sports, cooking or playing chess, students were able to explore new interests and develop their skills in a fun and relaxed environment.

We can be very proud of how Olympus students played and the fair play of Olympus students, especially Nikita, Boris, Aoto, Ryunosuke, Navidreza and Bruno. At the same time, congratulations to AC Leman for being open to adding students from Old Portena, Champs de Bois and Concha.
Otabek, Billy and Abay made us proud this evening. They did very well on the quiz as Olympus obtained the third position. Well done!

This weekend all our Olympus kids were back to normal with 3 days full of activities, entertainment and, most importantly, lots of fun. We were also very lucky as the weather was perfect, with warm temperatures and sunshine in the sky all weekend long. Here are some photos of our boys:
