🌻 β˜€οΈ 🌼 Last weekend before Spring Break! 😁

This weekend, the last one before the Easter holidays, our boys from Olympus did not sit still. On the contrary, they enjoyed the multiple activities and sports they are used to. Tennis, badminton, chess, climbing… from Friday to Sunday, our students made sure to keep their bodies and minds moving.

Below are some of the photos we have selected to illustrate it:

As you can see in the photos, Bohdan (left) and Nikolai (right) did not want to miss their regular tennis lessons. This weekend they focused on improving their return skills. Week after week, our two students are slowly turning into real professionals.

Similarly, Aleksei, Herman (both pictured) and Ilya exercised their grip skills by climbing some of the most difficult boulders possible. As we all know, climbing is one of the best sports for developing all the muscles in a very balanced way, and our students did not want to miss the opportunity to take advantage of these benefits.

As part of this weekend’s special activity, our Olympus boys, LΓ€el and Adi, went to Geneva to watch a football match. Our local team, Servette FC, won, fortunately, 2-1 against BSC Young Boys, a team from the capital, Bern. Thus, our students were able to enjoy the match and cheer on our local young players.

And we cannot end this blogspot without mentioning other students who took part in the activities. Otabek, Murat, Richard and Ayu improved their badminton skills on Friday, as did Tim and Louis in basketball. And Artem exercised his mind at his regular chess club meeting on Sunday.

πŸ™‚ Weekend fun! πŸ”«

This weekend our Olympus Boarding House boys enjoyed a lot, as always, of activities and free time inside and outside the house. On Sunday, in fact, a large group of our lads participated in a massive Paintball competition, standing out for their precision and teamwork.

Here are some photos of the activities:

Aleksei (pictured right) and Navi attend their weekly climbing session with discipline. In the last weeks they have improved their grip and balance a lot.

Nikolai and Bohdan (pictured right, with his twin brother) are becoming really good tennis players, as they practice every weekend. The latter was no exception, of course.

To round off the weekend in the best possible way, twelve of our Olympus boys took part in an intense game of Paintball. Throughout Sunday morning they proved that they are capable of using strategy and teamwork in equal measure to get the best out of themselves as a group.

🎿 Fun weekend 🏸

This weekend we have had an amazing series of activities carried out by our Olympus kids. From the usual tennis to an awesome trip to the beautiful city of Barcelona, our students have enjoyed the weekend as only they know how.

The weekend started with our annual ski competition, in which our representative, Artem, had an amazing performance. We were all very proud of him at Olympus Boarding House.

As every Saturday, Aleksei, Navi, Herman (left photo) and Maksim (right photo) climbed like cats and enjoyed the climbing club very much.

Bohdan (pictured right) attended, as usual, tennis lessons. On this occasion, he was accompanied by Nikolai (pictured left), who wanted to improve his serve.

And, last but not least, Aoto, Ryu and LΓ€el (all in the down left photo with Martin) participated in the organized trip to the city of Barcelona, in Spain. There they could know the insides of one of the largest football stadiums in the world, the Camp Nou. They also visited the cathedral of Sagrada Familia and the Park GΓΌell.

❄️ February Break 🎊

The Olympus House wishes all our students, families and agents a happy holiday week. We are already looking forward to seeing all our kids again.

The boarding house will open again on Saturday 25th February from 9am.

Have a great time and we’ll see you soon!

😁 Fun Weekend πŸ€

This weekend all our Olympus kids were back to normal with 3 days full of activities, entertainment and, most importantly, lots of fun. We were also very lucky as the weather was perfect, with warm temperatures and sunshine in the sky all weekend long. Here are some photos of our boys:

Adi (left) and Nikolai challenge each other in the clever game of chess.

From left to right, Herman, Navid and Aleksei enjoying the art of climbing in a very… creative way.

Ryu waits for his opponent’s serve to give him back a perfect return.

❄️ First Ski Weekend!! ⛷️

This weekend the whole Boarding School were in Fiesch, in the canton of Valais, at the Sports Resort, a very cosy and spacious place.

There, our Olympus students, as well as all the girls and boys from the other boarding schools, were able to enjoy their stay in many different ways.

From skiing in the high-altitude resort of Fiescheralp to visiting the Sports Centre, from a visit to the thermal baths to an afternoon of bowling, we are sure that all our students enjoyed the experience immensely.

Here are a few photos from the weekend.

❄️ Winter Ball! 🎊

This past Saturday 10th all the students of the CDL Boarding School celebrated our annual Winter Ball.

All the students had a great time having dinner, dancing and enjoying themselves with their mates and friends. This is how we celebrated the end of term and the arrival of the Winter Holidays.

Here are some of the best photos and videos taken of our Olympus students.

The Olympus Boarding School and all the staff of the CollΓ©ge du Leman wish you all a good end of 2022 and a good start for the new year!

πŸŽ‰ Fun Weekend ❄️

This weekend was the last weekend of the year, so it was very special. Our students had a great time at the boarding school activities.

All of this culminated in our traditional Winter Ball, where all Boarding School students celebrated the end of the semester with lots of fun.

In these photos, we can see Navidreza with other children from different Boarding Housespreparing a delicious meal, as part of the cooking workshop.

Adi (pictured), Ryu and Murat went to their weekly tennis lesson to improve their racket skills.

As every week, Aleksei (photo left), Herman (picture right) and Dymtro spent a few hours hanging from boulders in the climbing class.

Artem and Nikolai came, as they do every Sunday, to the Chess Club, where the smartest minds in the school help each other to improve their strategic thinking.

Finally, the whole Boarding House celebrated “La Marmite de l’Escalade 1602”, a traditional Geneva event. Adi and Boris, as the youngest and oldest pupils respectively, were in charge of breaking the chocolate jar.
