Throughout the day, they showed incredible energy, stayed active from start to finish, and embraced every moment on the slopes. Their enthusiasm, positive attitude, and support for one another made the ski day not only fun but truly memorable. Well done for making the most of the experience and showing such great spirit—keep it up!
This month, our boarding community came together for our usual monthly assembly, and we were delighted to have one of our girls; Tanya volunteer and perform for us all. She sang absolutely beautifully, showcasing not only her talent but also her confidence and generosity in sharing it with the community.
Her performance added something truly special to the gathering, and we always appreciate when she brings her musical gifts to our shared spaces. It’s always a joy to see our girls uplift the boarding experience through creativity and participation!

This weekend was packed with amazing experiences and great energy!
We enjoyed a wide variety of activities, both on and off campus, making the most of our time together.
🏙️ Trip to Bern – exploring the city, discovering Swiss culture and enjoying time together in a beautiful setting.
🧩 Escape Room – teamwork, problem-solving and lots of excitement!
🏔️ Crans-Montana trip – fresh mountain air, snow, breathtaking views and an unforgettable alpine atmosphere.
⚽ Sports activities – football, fitness sessions and active games on campus.
🎨 Creative & group activities – moments to connect, relax and have fun together.

We’re thrilled to officially be moved into our new house!
After settling in and unpacking, the house quickly filled with laughter, conversation, and a feeling of home. Rooms were claimed, bags were emptied (mostly!), and familiar routines have begun to take shape in our new space.
🎂 We were also lucky enough to celebrate a very special moment together—wishing a big happy birthday to Serafina on January 15th! 🎉 It was the perfect way to bring everyone together and make the new house feel even more like home.

It’s wonderful to welcome back our returning boarders and extend a warm greeting to the new girls joining us this term. We look forward to an amazing semester ahead filled with learning, activities, and strong community spirit.

It’s hard to believe how quickly the first part of the school year has flown by — and now the December holidays are already here. After months full of learning, activities, and shared moments, it’s time for a well-deserved break.
We would like to wish everyone in the CDL community a joyful, restful, and warm holiday season. Whether you’re spending this time with family, travelling near or far, enjoying winter landscapes, or simply slowing down and recharging at home, we hope these holidays bring you peace, happiness, and plenty of good moments.
The house will close this Sunday for the holiday break.
We will reopen on Saturday, January 10th at 09:00, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the new term as we start school on Monday 12th January.

The long anticipated Winter Ball weekend finally arrived and the whole of the boarding community spent a wonderful evening celebrating the end of the year with a beautiful meal, wonderful company, some inspiring and truly heartfelt speeches and a lot of dancing!
Elegance was the name of the game and the VDL girls did not disappoint. With an array of stunning looks, they graced the ball with smiles all around and had a great evening together.
It was great to see the girls having so much fun with their friends and when sore feet from dancing is the biggest complaint when the girls get home…you know it has been a good night!
Last night we enjoyed a beautiful Winter Concert, filled with music, talent, and a wonderful festive atmosphere. Our students truly shined on stage, delivering performances full of heart and creativity.
A special congratulations to Evelyn — not only for her two amazing performances, but also for her fantastic help in organizing the event. Your dedication made a real difference. 🌟
A warm bravo to Lily for her beautiful singing. Your voice brought so much emotion to the concert and created a magical moment for everyone. 🎤✨
And of course, a big thank you to everyone who was there to support — your presence and encouragement made the evening even more special.
Nights like this remind us how talented, kind, and supportive our community is.
