Last Wednesday it was an important day for the kids: they got the boarding picture taken! 📸

Our Concha boys woke up earlier than usual for them to have enough time to get ready, put their suits on (yes, the key elements of the dress code were blazers) and have breakfast. They were lucky, as the picture was taken in our garden so they did not have to go far. They were arranged by height alongside other boarders and boarding staff by professional photographers. While they were waiting for everyone to be organised, they had time to chat, make jokes and spend some quality time together. Once everything was set, it was high time to get the picture taken, and after a long minute, it was over!

After this, they went back to the house to get changed quickly and go back to class. However, not everyone wanted to get changed as they preferred to go to school in their suits; it was a special day for them and they wanted their classmates to see how fancy they looked! Special mention to Firdavs here, Ms Manuella from Marketing told us he asked her for a couple of pictures…Someone loves the cameras! 🤩

In a couple of weeks, we will receive the picture and check how good our kids look in it. We are looking forward to sharing it!

It’s time to say goodbye to the weekend and the Concha boys want to squeeze as many activities as possible in just 10 hours!

In the morning, they went for an energy-boosting brunch at the Léman cafeteria right before going to their Sunday activities. This time they chose sporty activities like tennis and golf as well as brainy activities such as chess. Once their leisure time was over, it was high time to clean the rooms and make sure everything was ready for the new week. Mondays can be tough, but on the positive side, we only got two Mondays left until holidays! 🙌🏻

Daniel and Fanyang woke up early to watch their favourite TV show while making a delicious breakfast! 🥞

In the evening, Martin started teaching Mr Víctor how to play chess. In fact, he is such a good teacher! 🤩

It’s another weekend at the Concha Boarding House and the kids are keeping themselves busy! Weekends are the perfect opportunity for them to get out of the weekly routine and enjoy themselves a bit. As every weekend, they get to join activities involving physical activity or a bit of creativity. After these, they shower and go to Geneva to grab a bite and do shopping. But they can also find fun inside the house! Some of them decided to go to the supermarket here, in Versoix and cook in our kitchen. All in all, our kids had fun and strengthened their bonds!

The weekend is finally here and the kids take advantage of their free time to do activities they cannot usually do on a daily basis. Gianni, Tim, Jiarui and Fanbo spent the evening playing basketball together in the Olympus Basketball Court. Sports and actual communication can give our kids way more than screens can, well done! 👏🏻

Today, 14 years ago, Juze was born! 🤩

It was a very busy day for him. In the early morning, everyone rushed to wish him a happy birthday and after school, Juze and his closest friends went for dinner to a nice restaurant here in Versoix! Also, once all the kids were settled in the house, we sang “Happy Birthday” to him and ate a cheesecake together. All in all, a good day to remember 🥳
