This past weekend, the cooler weather brought a refreshing change, with occasional showers adding to the (almost) autumn atmosphere. While Saturday’s lake activities, including the anticipated water sports, had to be cancelled, plenty of other exciting alternatives were available, and many of our boys took the opportunity to stay active and engaged throughout the weekend.
Some students embraced the chance to get outdoors and enjoy activities like golf and gardening, while others chose indoor activities such as tennis, badminton, climbing or boxing. Many of our boys also enjoyed their free time relaxing around Versoix or in the lively atmosphere of Geneva. Sunday brought even more relaxed pace, with the Sunday’s brunch being as popular as ever. Everyone took advantage of the extra rest, allowing themselves to recharge and fully prepare for the week ahead.
The highlight of the weekend was surely a special event organized by Ikuma, one of Olympus’ boys, who led a lake cleanup on Saturday afternoon – Nettoyage Annuel Du Lac Léman. Fifteen students joined the effort, working together to improve the local environment and showing a strong sense of community and responsibility. Well done!

Ce week-end, le temps plus frais a apporté une touche presque automnale avec des averses occasionnelles. Bien que les activités au lac de samedi, y compris les sports nautiques attendus, aient dû être annulées, de nombreuses autres activités intéressantes étaient proposées, et beaucoup de nos élèves ont choisi de rester actifs et engagés.
Certains ont profité du plein air avec des activités comme le golf et le jardinage, tandis que d’autres ont opté pour le tennis, le badminton, l’escalade ou la boxe. Beaucoup ont également apprécié leur temps libre en se détendant autour de Versoix ou dans l’atmosphère animée de Genève. Le dimanche a été plus relaxant, avec un brunch très apprécié, et tout le monde a profité de ce moment pour se ressourcer avant la semaine à venir.
Le temps fort du week-end a été le nettoyage du lac, organisé par Ikuma, l’un des élèves d’Olympus. Quinze élèves ont participé à cette initiative, travaillant ensemble pour améliorer l’environnement local et montrant un fort sens de la communauté. Bravo à tous !
