Hello Everyone,

Our weekend is almost over, and it has been really busy for our girls!

Friday night started with plenty of socialising over good food 😊

Saturday was all about activities; from badminton to cooking, and even a little festive spirit as we decorated the dining hall tree. 😎

And finally on Sunday our girls entered the inter-house Bake Off competition. The cake was delicious, and the artistry impressed the judges!

The week in Villa du Lac was busy and went very fast.
Our girls deserved a well-rested weekend! 🤪

Christmas is around the corner and our tree is already up 🎄🎄

And Laura Jane can’t wait for Christmas and already open her calendar. Or maybe just wants the chocolates 😝

On Wednesday, Sarah Perrin went on a Volleyball Tournament and ended up in 2nd place!
We are very proud of you Sarah! 😍

On Saturday the girls went to Geneva, hanged out with friends and had a great time ⭐🥰

On Sunday we the Gift Box Wrapping which consist in collecting and sending gift boxes to poor families in eastern Europe. Each box had a specific set of items like (toys, stationary, school materials, sweets, toiletries…).
Well done to Natalia and Elina for taking part of this action 👏💕

This weekend we had to amazing trips around Switzerland.
On Saturday some of the girls went to Interlaken to do some sightseeing and have a guide tour through with beautiful city!

On Sunday the girls went to one of the most famous Christmas Market – Montreux 🎅🎄

Last week we started with the WELLBEING: Pillar 2 – Respecting diversity and protecting against bullying.

Take away point 1 – Integration and diversity are part of the international agenda of the world’s most important institutions. 

We talk about it at a lower level, at schools, work and public places. However, that topic is at the heart of the identity of all the major international organizations and that is something that sometimes we overlook to consider diversity something to think of at an individual level. Beyond the political message on the importance of diversity, institutions like the UN have a policy of promoting diversity in their work force and enabling all types of people to access job position within their ranks and therefore setting the example on integration and teamwork.   

During our house meeting, we asked the girls to tell us what Diversity meant to them, in the context of the school and the house. They were asked to pair up with their roommate and make a video or a voice note, discussing what they learned from each other’s cultures.

Dear All,

First of all, we want to wish happy birthday to our Inès who turned 16 years old on Saturday! Happy Birthday Inès from everybody in the House 🎂

During the weekend the girls enjoyed spending their time cooking! They prepared a delicious cake 🥰

On Sunday, they spent the afternoon playing laser tag! Such fun 😎

And finally, tonight they are rehearsing the Christmas song and getting ready to record it tomorrow! We really like seeing them laughing and bonding all together.
