A Relaxing Weekend in the Villa du Lac

After a busy week of AP exams and the first week back from February break, the girls at the boarding house enjoyed a much-needed relaxing weekend to unwind and recharge. The sunny, warm spring weather made everything even better, and everyone took full advantage of the beautiful conditions.

Though relaxation was the main focus of the weekend, the girls still made time to stay active. They played friendly tennis matches, did some light stretching, and even tried out a hip-hop dance session in the gym. It was a great way to get moving and have fun without any pressure. Some of the girls also enjoyed socializing and shopping in Geneva.

For those who wanted a more peaceful activity, hiking in the local mountains was a favorite. The fresh air and stunning views made it the perfect way to unwind and enjoy nature while catching up with friends.

By the end of the weekend, the girls are feeling relaxed and ready for the week ahead. The mix of fun activities, downtime, and sunny spring weather made for the perfect balance of rest and enjoyment, leaving everyone feeling recharged for the days to come.

International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is a time to reflect on the achievements of women all around the world, and it’s also an opportunity to show gratitude for the incredible women in our lives. This year, we celebrated the occasion in a creative and meaningful way.

Our celebration kicked off with a fun art activity led by Victor. Elena and Kiki guided the group through a painting project where participants made beautiful hand print art. As part of the activity, everyone was encouraged to write a short note about why they are grateful for the women who inspire them. It was a beautiful moment of reflection and appreciation.

In addition to the art project, we honored the women in our lives by giving flowers. Many of the girls also received flowers from their loved ones.

It was a day filled with gratitude, creativity, and connection—a beautiful reminder of the importance of recognizing and celebrating women, not just on International Women’s Day, but every day.
