Our girls really make the most of their social hour in the house.
Some of them enjoy practicing their skills with different instruments. Sofiya, was enjoying a piano session today during her social time.
Some of the girls also joined us for a board game where they had to solve a murder mystery.
In the mean time, many of our girls were enjoying a dance session in their room.

The pumpking pie was the super star of the night, and the decorations created a very cosy atmosphere.

Alina and Lisa presented their powerpoint on the topic of “Acceptance”.
We also had the pleasure to learn more about Farah’s country, Azerbaijan.
This month we are focusing on Bullying and Diversity.
Learning to respect each other, as well as learning about each others cultures.

Today, after the halloween themed dinner night, the kids got to go trick or treat.
We got visitors from Concha, New Portena, Champ de Bois, Leman, Old Portena and Olympus.
The kids dressed up with different costumes, some scary and some super creative.
We invited them to come in, and take a look at our decorations at Villa du Lac.

Watersports day!
Some students enjoyed the amazing weather at the lake today.
The girls went paddle boarding to Lac Leman with an incredible view of France.
They enjoyed a sunny morning just before the start of winter.
Farah and Lulu, two of our very talented students who have been rehearsing for our next boarding assembly.
Both Farah and Lulu have beautiful voices, and Lulu has amazing guitar skills.
Next Wednesday they will be giving a presentation to our boarding community, before our monthly assembly.
We cannot wait for this, as they are both gifted singers.
Today we had the pleasure to welcome back one of our alumni, Claudia.
The students spend some time at the auditorium today, where Claudia gave them some insight on university life.
She talked to our students about leaving the CDL bubble and going out to the world of a Uni student for the first time.
Claudia gave them some very useful tips and tricks, as well to advise when it comes to university and making choices.
The students were able to ask her questions and solve their doubts about this experience that most of them will be embarking very soon.
Claudia also talked about her new job as a lab researcher. She explained a little bit about the virus outbreak and the how’s and why’s of the COVID-19 pandemic.
