During an engaging third week the girls of the house explored Pillar Number 3, focusing on toxic friendships and relationships. This crucial topic prompted each of them to reflect deeply on the red, yellow, and green flags in their relationships.

At the end of this session, we organized an exciting Kahoot to test their newly acquired knowledge. We are delighted to congratulate Masha for her well-deserved victory, closely followed by Sedef and Maria.

This week, we are pleased to highlight one of our outstanding boarders, Alex, as the Boarder of the Week. Alex has shown great kindness.

A few days ago, one of her close friends unfortunately had an accident and got injured. Alex’s compassion and generosity really made a difference, and we appreciate having such caring individuals in our house. She not only offered emotional support but also took initiatives to help her friend. Alex spent time looking after her friend, providing comfort and encouragement. Congratulations to Alex for being named the Boarder of the Week.

The girls engaged in open and informative discussions about international friendships, sharing their experiences and discovering the diverse perspectives that enrich our school community. We also addressed the delicate topic of microaggressions, those seemingly harmless comments or behaviors that can have a negative impact on the targeted individuals.

At the end of the conversation, students were invited to reflect on their own experiences by responding to a questionnaire. The central question was, “What microaggressions have you personally dealt with or witnessed?” This encouraged our girls to share their experiences, raise awareness among their peers, and contribute to creating a more inclusive school environment.

This past weekend, our boarding community embarked on an exiting trip to Leysin, and what an adventure it turned out to be!

From Friday, we hit the slopes for some thrilling skiing experiences at every level, guided by instructors. The snow-covered mountains provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable weekend.

But that’s not all—students also had the chance to enjoy tobogganing, ice skating, and an exciting excursion to Glacier 3000. The variety of activities ensured that everyone found something they loved, making it a weekend filled with fun and sport.

Whether carving through the snow or gliding gracefully on the ice, laughter echoed through the mountains as friendships were strengthened. The memories created during this weekend will undoubtedly be cherished for a long time.
