Yesterday, Carmen competed in a Basketball competition hosted by CDL. She is part of the high school girl’s team and trains with them weekly. The girls took 2nd place in the tournament, which is something to be proud of! Below are a few snaps of one of the games, she fought really hard on the court and continues to show a lot of passion for the sport. Bravo Carmen!

Roommates can be so much more than just two people sharing a common space. Jess needed a little help with some homework this week, and as house parents we felt a sincere moment of pride when we found Sofia helping her out of her own accord.
Veronika treated the house to a few goodies this evening. They were delicious and the house smelt wonderful with the lingering smell of baked goods. Thanks Veronika!
It was Nycol’s Birthday yesterday as well.
It’s not always easy to celebrate our birthdays when we are away from our family, but we manage to make these days special with our second family. With 2 cakes!!

As we are almost at the end of the half-term, we have decided to treat ourselves with a nice dinner in the House.
It was great fun and we have to thank Masterchef Tanya and Talia for their help. It was delicious! 🙂
