Our students have just returned from an incredible trip to Iceland, and what a week it has been! From start to finish, this journey was filled with exciting activities and unforgettable experiences.

Though the cold temperatures tested their limits, our students embraced every moment with enthusiasm. They witnessed the stunning beauty of Iceland—its majestic glaciers, volcanic landscapes, and mesmerizing natural wonders. From hiking through dramatic scenery to exploring geysers and soaking in geothermal hot springs, each day brought something new and awe-inspiring.

Despite the chilly weather, it was a week that will remain in their hearts forever. The memories created during this adventure will stay with them as a reminder of the incredible things they experienced together. We’re so proud of everyone for making the most of every opportunity. This week has been extra special for our boarders and day students, as we’ve had the highly anticipated Ski Week in Crans-Montana. Over the past few days, skiing has been the main event, with action-packed days on the slopes full of sports, learning, and snowy fun.

But the experience didn’t stop at the ski runs. We also had time to relax and enjoy activities such as board games, ice skating afternoons, bowling sessions, and dinners in Crans-Montana, where we shared laughs and great moments together.

It’s been a week full of adventure, camaraderie, and memories that will last for a long time. Now, we return with renewed energy and are ready to tackle the rest of the term. Until the next adventure!

After a week of vacation, we’re back! Even though it was a short break, we hope everyone had a great time—whether relaxing at home with family, exploring new destinations, skiing at Ski Camp, or experiencing an unforgettable adventure in Iceland.

It was a great opportunity to unwind, discover fascinating places, and create special memories. Now, we return with renewed energy, ready to keep learning, take on new challenges, and make more unforgettable moments together.

Happy February Break from All of Us at Villa du Lac!

It’s hard to believe, but February break has arrived faster than we could have imagined. Time seems to be flying by, and with the hustle of the first part of the school year behind us, we’re all in need of some well-deserved rest and relaxation.

We want to wish everyone in CDL a great and restful week off! Whether you’re spending your break with family near or far, heading off on a ski week in Crans Montana, or braving the cold (and hoping for a glimpse of the Northern Lights) in Iceland, we hope this break fills your cup up with adventure, rest and fun.

No matter where you’re headed or how you’re spending the break, we hope this time gives you the chance to recharge, explore new places, or simply take a moment to unwind.

The house will reopen on March 1st from 09:00 am and all students are to return to the house by 18:30 on March 2nd.

We look forward to seeing you all back soon and we hope that you have a fantastic February break.

This weekend, our students enjoyed a variety of activities that made the days fly by. From sports like tennis and badminton to a fun cooking session, plus an afternoon spent preparing a delicious cheesecake on Saturday.

Additionally, we gathered with other boarding houses to watch Inside Out, a movie that made us reflect on our emotions while sharing (along with some delicious snacks) a great time together. All of this was accompanied by wonderful sunshine, allowing us to make the most of every moment.

Now, with renewed energy, we are ready to take on the last week before the February Break. Let’s go for it! 💪✨

Today, our school woke up to an atmosphere filled with joy, excitement, and, most of all, LOVE. From the very start of the morning, the girls received a special surprise: as they opened their eyes, they found a personalized note reminding them just how special they are. 🌸✨

Throughout the day, the hallways have been filled with flowers, laughter, and warm embraces. Valentine’s Day isn’t just about romantic love—it’s also about friendship, kindness, and the sense of family we build in our home. 💕

Because love is found in the little things: in words of encouragement, in shared moments, and in the certainty that here, they will always find support and friendship.
