Today we had our first dinner at home this year! We enjoyed ITALIAN FOOD: meat lasagne and for dessert, tiramisu. We also had a bit of karaoke to end the night, laughing and singing to our favourite songs!

It feels so special to be able to share these moments together, creating memories and enjoy a home-cooked meal at least once a month. These are the little things that make life so meaningful.

This weekend we wanted to go beyond the weekend activities and we have gone…. To the Swiss Alps!

Being in a country surrounded by nature, mountains, animals and outdoor sports and activities gives us the opportunity to explore and learn about the world around us, and indeed, that is what we did. They have learned about the flora and fauna, how to find their way in nature if they are lost, how to make a fire or even how to cook in the middle of the forest! Yes, they have become real survivors! 

For the more sporty ones we have been able to try out activities such as climbing, mountain biking or even zip lining (if you are not afraid of heights you have to try it)! 

But as we all know, life is not the same if you don’t share it with people. that’s why the important thing about this weekend that takes place every year is to have done it together. Meeting the people who are going to be your friends, colleagues and neighbours for the whole year is the magic of this trip.

Thank you very much for this adventure full of wonderful moments, laughter and emotions , for your attitude and willingness to always have a good time. And now…. To think about the next trip… TANZANIA!!!!

This weekend was filled with exciting new activities such as horse riding, paddle boarding, golf, running and tennis. The girls finished off the weekend with some delicious brownies baked by Miss Alison and a house gathering to discuss the week ahead.

Here’s to an adventurous and outdoorsy week in the mountains.

The girls had a fun packed weekend of activities this weekend.

We took advantage of the fine weather and the lake by trying some new activities such as wakeboarding, paddle boarding, swimming and kayaking. Those on dry land enjoyed volleyball and tennis, worked on their serve while making new friends in the process.

Sunday was a little more relaxed as the girls sampled activities such as Pilates, body shaping and stretching. Many of them spent time exploring Versoix and Geneva where they did some shopping, eating and spent quality time with friends.

A great weekend was had by all and everyone is recharged and ready for the second week of school.
