Amazing Mountain Weekend in Leysin!

Dear all,

This weekend, we went to Leysin to connect with nature, create some wonderful memories, and bond together as a small family while enjoying time off campus! Some of the activities we participated in included learning about local fauna and flora, geography, and other interesting facts during a great hike. We also had a campfire where we roasted marshmallows, did orienteering, created forest art, and enjoyed many other exciting activities.

On behalf of the girls and ourselves, a big thank you to Claire and the entire camp team for making this weekend such a memorable one. We’re now off to rest and recharge for tomorrow and the exciting discovery days ahead!

Wishing you all a great start to the week,

Villa Terray Team 😊

A day in Lausanne!

Dear all,

To make the most of today’s school-free day, we went to Lausanne to explore the history of the Olympic Games, listen to the anthem from the inauguration, and buy some souvenirs. In addition, the girls had the chance to finalize the last items needed for the upcoming mountain weekend, which starts tomorrow! Keep an eye on the blog for updates from Leysin.

We look forward to sharing exciting mountain activities and outdoor experiences soon!

Best wishes,
The Villa Terray Team

Random Pictures of our Boarding Life!

The girls had a fun time in the playground during social hours, and we were delighted to have a visit from our lovely boarding counsellor, who introduced herself to our boarders and explained her role in the boarding community. We enjoyed breakfast in Léman, our evening meditation—a moment of bliss after a busy day. Today, the girls also voted for the house captain and house representative. The results were announced by Jade, and the chosen students are Alessia and Julia.

A Fun & Busy Day in Terray !

We had a full house today as students gathered to mingle and cook together. The kitchen was filled with delicious aromas, though it quickly turned into a bit of a chaotic scene—far too many cooks in one place! But what truly mattered was the shared experience and the opportunity to start building close friendships.

We wrapped up the afternoon with some group games, and we were delighted to have a senior student visit to volunteer and join in the fun.
