Pillar 4 – Healthy Bodies and Minds

We have officially started our fourth wellbeing pillar in Terray, Healthy Bodies and Minds!

For the first week of this pillar, we focused on nutrition, providing our students with a better understanding of calories and portion sizes, as well as how to make healthy food choices and the importance of staying hydrated.

Tonight’s video centered on portion sizes, water intake, and calorie needs for different age groups, teaching our students more about how to best care for their bodies. We look forward to exploring more of this very important pillar in the coming weeks, and learning more about how to nourish our bodies and minds!

 

Dinner at Home – Indonesia!

Tonight, we had another lovely dinner at home. We are treated to a dinner at home one Thursday per month, and each dinner has a different country for its theme. We had Indonesian food tonight, featuring Nasi Goreng, chicken skewers with sauce, and delicious coconut cakes for dessert! Dinner at home for Terray means a chance to connect with one another as a family. We are so thankful for these opportunities and always look forward to eating together in the house.
